1518 meet my expectations! My girlfriend kept raving about the mussels here so I had to tag along with her. I ordered the white sauce mussels and the chicken caesar salad. Both were very very good! Very fulfilling. 1518 had a great ambiance and Yanni (I hope that is his name) the bartender was super cool? ... I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu!

Came for a birthday dinner with family and friends and we really enjoyed the atmosphere! Good place for drinks with friends i think. the food was nice as well, good veggie options and the calamari was great! There were a few mixups with too many of something being brought, like ordering 2 coffees and being brought 4? So be very clear with the waiters. and also, we made a reservation for 8 people, but were sat at a 6 person table with a 2-person table nearby. while our waitress was apologetic, it was not ideal. doesn’t seem like the kind of thing you’d need to specify when making a reservation over a week in advance… but other than that we really enjoyed ourselves and the food & wine.

If you want to feel like a local, when you’re not, come here. Friendly warm atmosphere. I came here more than once. Great service from Rick encouraged me back, then the same from Dave the bartender

Great food. My man and I shared the Chicken Parm and the mozzarella sticks. The cheese was incredibly fresh on both dishes. Super squeaky with the greatest cheese pulls ever. Sauce tasted like it was completely scratch made. If it wasn't I'd almost be more impressed because it was super fresh and delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Chicken was alright but honestly it was mostly a vessel for the delicious sauce and cheese. We drank something I think they called a city special. I don't remember exactly because it was such a busy night. But the special was a Miller High Life and a well whiskey. Price on that was so good that I didn't even care that I don't typically like Miller High Life. Overall great bar. Service was kinda slow but that's just because the bartender was talking to some service industry friends. Which didn't bother me much but I could tell it was irritating some other customers. Great experience. I'll definitely go here again next time I'm in Philly.

Keep it mind I have only been here on sundays 11 to 3 or 4 o clock. It’s not packed great vibe. The food is good I love it. All the workers there are nice nothing to not like about them. Bartender Dave is a great guy never lets my family down. He’s chill gets the job done. As long as your not doing things to get yourself kicked out you’ll have a great time.

Great Philly bar, the owner is onsite most days, excellent servers and bartenders. But the best part is the clientele who range from lawyers and corporate professionals through construction workers and friends. Avoid center city sips, show up for lunch!
