"We had a three course meal here with whisky pairing at each course. The food was stunning and raised to a different level with the paired whisky. My partner said the venison was one of the best things she had ever eaten. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely come back next time we are in Edinburgh"
"Went for the Burns night Mary kings close then meal. Food was great except the turnip/swede fondant was pretty raw and the whiskey sauce and dessert could do with a touch more whiskey so there's a taste of it but other than that food good. Service started fantastic however the busier it got the slower drinks service and clearing tables became. However yes we would go again it was great value and the drinks prices I though we're good value"
"It was the best lunch we had in Scotland. The salmon came in large quantities and was delicious. We ordered the venison, which is only made for dinner, but we were still very well served. The other dish was the traditional haggis, which was very tasty."
