Portion sizes are big (lots of seafood) and very fresh, and the waiter super attentive. There's also outside seating and despite being a big group we didn't need to book but the resturant looked busy. Great choice of wines too.

The bread they brought over at first was excellent and we started with a lot of hope after having read the reviews and seen the comprehensive menu. It was a busy night and unfortunately our waitress missed one of our two main course orders. The food was decent over all but my rating is due to service.

This place had the best damn lamb chops I’ve ever had. Great recommendation from our waiter. The sauce was sooo good. It was so much to eat honestly but I ate it all. Compliments to the chef for sure!I wish I had more veggies and they were seasoned a bit more but the sauce from the lambs picked up that missing piece. For dessert I had lava cake and vanilla ice cream. I believe the server said the ice cream was made in house. It was good and not too sweet and not too much vanilla. Great balance. The lava cake was [redacted] (I WILL NOT USE THAT M WORD HERE lol), warm, and rich in flavor. I didn’t eat it all because I was so full from the lamb. ? Overall great atmosphere. It’s very mellow inside. Outdoor seating is intimate (in my opinion). Not a bad place for a serious date, anniversary, or any other celebration. Highly recommend.

I love seafood and this Italian restaurant has a large, diverse menu filled with everything for everyone. I had items off the chefs special menu. Prawns wrapped in prosciutto. Expensive but very good. Then I had Lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops with fettuccine and pesto sauce. Delish! There's plenty of outdoor dining options as they've extended the dining area into the street which is closed to vehicle traffic. There are plenty of heat lamps.

This place is a must visit! The food is truly phenomenal! Excellent ? cocktails, staff service outstanding. Can't wait to come back to San Diego just for this restaurant.

Great service with outside seating. Had an Italian wine Masi Campfiorin which was not my favorite but ok with lots of tannin. Had the eggplant appetizer which my wife really liked. I had the Lasagna and my wife had the veal picatta in lemon sauce. Huge portions with good taste. Also had the lava cake appetizer.

If you like creme brulee that's fresh from the freezer, definitely stop by here. The glazed top was soft, didn't cover the top, and the custard texture felt like it was sitting in the fridge for the whole day. The Insalata Bella Elena was super bland and had a paper thin slice of soggy pear. Not sure why this place has good reviews, but it seems like your typical tourist trap. Take a trip to Little Italy and you'll find Italian food with higher quality ingredients for the same price.

We had a great meal, hosted by Hugo. My husband had a Caesar's salad and calamari. I had the Taglietelle Bolognese. Flavorful, seasoned just right. We would definitely go back because the food, atmosphere and service was wonderful. They are pet friendly.
