Really good. Some of the food was a little over the top but really enjoyed the samosas and the chicken tikka. The ice cream sandwiches were also great (but really how could you f that up?) I also really enjoyed the wine selection

Good food and great atmosphere. Most of the things we ordered were on point. A couple of items landed flat. The Punjabi Fish fry was one of the highlights. Will definitely visit again.

Overrated. For fusion food this was ok but wouldn't go if looking for Indian food. 2/5 Chickpeas and Chips - barely any chips, like 2 pieces and way too much yogurt 2/5 Lamb Burger - patty was very thin and the flavors did not go well with burger ingredients 2/5 Butter Chicken - not enough butter, too tomato-y 5/5 Mango Mousse Tables were super cramped, they ran out of almost everything we wanted to order on a Friday night. Service was slow and we had to ask for our drinks again. 2 unisex bathrooms were clean. I've also been to the DTLA location and ordered the samosa (slightly over-fried but good), poutine (barely had gravy, chicken was great), and fried chicken (also over-fried and needed a dipping sauce outside of yogurt, tikka masala gravy would've been great). I really wanted to like it but sadly it was a miss for me at both locations.

I had a lengthy layover at the LA airport. I rented a car to find and eat at Badmaash, on Fairfax Ave. It is a satisfying mix of truly authentic Indian food with additional creative house favorites on the menu! I was very pleased with the flavors of their familiar traditional favorites: naan, roti, mango lassi, tikka masala, samosas, Punjabi, fries onions, amazing dips and sauces. And I tried a couple new things, too: The South Indian Fish Moilee was a new and different taste and I loved it, as well as the coconut curry mussels. It was a feast! It made my day! I definitely recommend this place!

This is one of the unique fusion Indian restaurants in LA. Their spicy lamb burger is a must try according to me, the patty was so flavorful. Loved their Ghost Chili Lamb Vindaloo, Mutton Seekh Kabob and Rosemary Naan.Definitly want to try more from their menu.

Incredible food, great service, cool neighborhood. Def. recommend. Amritsari fish appetizer, Sheesh kabob, the lamb and the mussels were delicious. Even the Butter chicken kids ordered was really flavorful and Chicken Tikka poutine had great flavors and gravy.

Extremely inventive Indian cuisine that showcases many different styles. You can get East Indian fish curry, or Goan vindaloo, or your common Punjabi butter chicken. The variety is really unmatched when compared to every Indian place in LA, and the best thing is, they do all those dishes well. Must eat place in LA.

Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up-to it’s hype for us. I had high expectations going in because of reviews online, but it was below average. The food was fine, but the experience we had was subpar. The service was just ok - the staff seemed a little uncoordinated and didn’t complete our order. When we entered, the restaurant was empty and a lot of tables hadn’t been cleaned up and the lights felt too dim, music too loud. Despite this, we gave it a chance and the food was barely the redeeming factor. The naan was cold ish and had an unimpressive texture. The chai was too watery. The creamy black lentils were more water than cream, and the butter chicken also lacked the creaminess you get at other restaurants. The prices didn’t feel warranted at all, especially given the poor restaurant experience. The goal of the restaurant felt more showbiz than substance and felt disappointing that we used our one meal in LA here. Definitely not visiting this place again until management tightens up its operations.
