Tucker was the most amazing waiter my husband and I have ever had the privilege of being served by. He was attentive to detail, very helpful with our questions and extremely kind. The food was perfectly portioned. I wasn't expecting to find vegan food on their menu but was delightfully surprised and made the evening all the more enjoyable. The view of the Riverwalk is exceptional. We will definitely be returning!

We had a private dinner for our clients, 12 guests. From the very beginning, the service from the Event Manager, Alyssa, made me feel very comfortable with the restaurant’s ability to deliver on my high expectations. She took care of every detail, from the floral arrangement to getting special entree’s for my guests, to having the Pastry Chef design a unique dessert. The service from the wait staff, Brady & Tucker was outstanding. The culinary team made every course exquisite. Chef Bruce honored us with stopping by to say hello. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. If you are in San Antonio and want not just a meal, but an experience, you must try Biga.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good but not great. The recommended Thai salad was below average. The fried sticks on top of the salad was stale. Taste is below a standard Thai restaurant. The jerk scallop and the fried oysters were very very good. For dinner entrees, you have a choice of full or half portions. The half portions were generous in amounts. That's the only special thing for this restaurant. The dessert sample was okay. Service was attentive but missed on execution. Everytime our plates and utensils were taken away, our utensils were never replaced. So when the next dishes were served and the server would walk away, we had to wave for someone to get us utensils to eat our salad and entrees. A bit surprise on the service miss when a restaurant is chef owned and been around for a while.

The meals are pricey but you have to expect to pay big dollars for going to a restaurant that has been nominated for the James beard award 7 times. We had the lamb rack and Tri tips with the cheese plate, And beef skewers. Every dish had unique savory delicious flavors. The service was good and the AC was nice. The front entrance is currently closed for repair so you have to follow the signs around the back of the building too 2 get inside the restaurant. Is right near the love padlock bridge.

Nice restaurant with a few outside tables above the river walk. The Apple-Smoked Salmon Chalupa was under-whelming for the price (smoked salmon on a tortilla chip?). The cheese burger is huge and probably very good normally (ours was way under-cooked - they took off our check). The highlight was splitting the entrees. The Pan Seared Natural Scallops & Gulf Shrimp was outstanding! The Spiced South Texas Antelope and Lockhart Quail was also very good. We'll definitely go back.

Everything was truly 5 stars. There is a parking garage for Biga customers right outside of the entrance so no real walk to get there. The wait staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and the extensive wine list. They gave great recommendations, and when I could not decide between two different plates, my waiter actually had the two combined in smaller portions so I didn’t have to choose! I had the antelope and quail as well as the lamb. It was phenomenal! We shared the habanero scallops appetizer which was also so good and not too spicy at all! I found the menu to be very reasonably priced for what we got. This was the best meal that I have had in San Antonio in the year that I’ve been living here!

My wife and I enjoyed a special date night here. It was our first time, and we enjoyed it immensely. From the start, we felt welcomed. Our server, Ray, was incredible. He went into detail explaining different plates and recommendations. We also enjoyed our conversations with him. The food -- WOW -- delicious. Everything was made to perfection. But, of course, the best part was just being with my wife. That combined with a great atmosphere, service, and food makes for a great, memorable evening. We'll be back!

We were here for dinner and tried their 5 course tasting meal. It's a great experience for sure, and if I am in the area again, I would love to take my friends/family here. The bread that came out was so flavourful along with the butter. I ordered thai inspired vegetable salad. It was amazing and i recommend it 100%. You would never imagine that from a simple salad. We also ordered sticky toffee pudding. And again, mind-blowing. I recommend it not only for the food, but experience. I forgot the name of our waiter, but he had a warm personality and was very accommodating. He mentioned that he had been working in the restaurant since they opened back in the day! So definitely he had great suggestions for us.
