I’ve been wanting to try this place out for quite some time now. Just finally went tonight and I was blown away with how delicious everything was. My husband and I never even spoke to each other during the meal because we were so busy enjoying our food. I got the seafood linguini special and my husband got the chicken/mozzarella with vegetable dish. We also got the mussels appetizer and the broth that comes with it is so full of flavor (make sure you dunk the bread in it, and top it with the Parmesan they serve with it). We were too full for dessert but next time we come in all make sure to get the tiramisu. Service was great as well. Can’t wait to come back!

Their eggplant and pork chops are incredible - it’s probably my favorite Italian eggplant dish of all time. This evening we also had the grilled prosciutto and mozzarella, the old fashioned and the grilled sausage.

Neighborhood staple for years in Logan Square. They renovated & it looks fresh & new with giving more room between tables. Food is still delicious Northern Italian cuisine with ample portions. Great for date night or special occasion. Wonderful wait staff & service. There is also patio seating when the weather is nice outside.

This restaurant is always good, and has been good for its 20 year existence in Logan Square. I would recommend to any and everybody that enjoys Italian food. Specifically, I recommend the Rigatoni Buona Terra, as well as the Rock Shrimp Spaghetti as they are both excellent. Buena Terra has a very cozy atmosphere right in the heart of Logan Square that make it perfect for a date night as well.

The food was good as usual. I have been there multiple times. Drinks were okay not the the greatest should've stuck to wine. We ordered 6 drinks, and one came after we had all basically finished our first drink. Then we asked for red sauce to go with the bread, and that never came. It was quite busy, so we let it go. At the end we asked for take home containers and were missing a lid...we were told one of us had to have 2 by the waiter and he walked away 5 minutes passed no lid... asked the owner for one and was told the same thing as she gave us the lid... I guess lids are expensive ?

I was excited to try what the city had to offer, and this place was our first stop, but I was very disappointed!! My pasta was overcooked and had burnt pieces along with the chicken I had added to my dish...it was so dry and the flavor was not pleasant. My bruschetta appetizer only came with a few small pieces of bread and they were beyond a slight crisp, they were hard as a rock.

Italian cuisine has been one of my favorites, so I really went here just to try some of the best Italian foods that they have on their menu. I ordered the Paillard Di Pollo Alla Griglia. The chicken was grilled perfectly; it was so tender and flavorful, and I wish I had more of the lemon-herb butter sauce. This dish was so great and has great balance and texture. I also ordered the Rigatoni, and I liked it very much. The pasta was soft and light, and the toppings and spices were on point. This pasta definitely goes to the top of my list of the best Italian dishes I have ever had. The place was cool and cozy, and the people here are really friendly and accommodating. I had a great time here at Buona Terra, and I cannot wait to try more of what they have on their menu.

Unfortunately, nothing about this restaurant impressed me. Food tasted good but it wasn't anything worth going back for. Plating was sloppy and not worth taking a picture to share. The polpi alla griglia and the pollo affumicatto needed more salt. It was overpriced for what you get. It was about $20-30 for a plate. Other reataurants nearby have more impressive food for the same price, or prices that are like 35% less and the food that rivals Buona Terra. Overall you're not missing out by going to another restaurant.
