My partner and I went here last night around 7:30 pm with a dinner reservation. It was a full house and we were greeted by this very kind young woman. We requested an outside table however she did advise us it was going to be an additional 10 minute wait but if we wished she can accommodate us inside. We agreed to eat inside and it’s very cozy with a lovely atmosphere. I must say my partner and myself greatly enjoyed ourselves! All of the food was great! I look forward to returning.

Burrata is a quaint and cozy BYOB restaurant located in a quite but lively neighborhood tucked away in south Philly. We had such an amazing dinner with our parents here! Reservations are suggested. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house all night and now we know why! For starters… Fresh sesame bread was served with an olive oil and vinegar combination. Our family started with 3 appetizers. The beet and arugula salad, burrata decorated with roasted bell peppers and a fig balsamic glaze, and the breaded and baked smoked Gouda special. All three were perfectly prepared and presented. The friendly and knowledgeable wait staff kept our water glasses full and we never had to wait to have our table cleared. Place settings were refreshed after each course. We decided to try 4 different entrees for the main course. The truffle mushroom gnocchi was the best gnocchi we’ve ever had! It melted in your mouth. The lobster and crab raviolis were bursting with savory flavors. The rigatoni was so fresh and delicious. Each bite, I was silently whispering “wow” to myself. And last, but certainly not least, the fettuccine with shrimp and a light cream sauce! It’s a simple yet elegantly classic dish here. We highly recommend everything we had. For dessert, we tried the limoncello cake with a light semi-sweet whipped icing topped with black raspberry drizzle. We also had the pistachio ice cream. 3 scoops was enough to share between 4 people. Both desserts were the perfect way to end the evening! Date night, first date, family night, or girls night out? We highly recommend making reservations with Burrata today!

We went by the recommendations on maps and this place totally lived up to our expectations. We decided on two pastas: the ravioli (excellent, and full of flavor), and the special which was Orecchiette with shiitake mushrooms and a white wine sauce which was extremely fresh and delicious. For dessert we picked the limoncello cake, which was fresh and not too heavy. Perfect finishing touch.

An adorable and authentic Italian affair! Burrata has done a wonderful job in designing a cozy BYOB eatery with a variety of flavorful dishes to please any diner that sets foot in its inviting dining room. I visited here on my birthday last month. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I ordered a couple light appetizers (cauliflower and a salad), delicious. And for the main courses, my partner and I sampled the truffle gnocchi, spinach fettuccine, and the chicken Milanese. Everything was wonderful, fresh and hot, as it should be. The dessert was my favorite part, not by far though! The crème brûlée was so creamy and rich, and the perfectly caramelized sugar crust was the “icing on the cake” so to speak. I hope to return, until then, good luck, Burrata!

Almost don’t want to post and keep this gem to myself! Food and atmosphere is fantastic. Small corner neighborhood establishment. It is BYO with no additional charge. First time having the dish called buratta. Fresh and tasty! Octopus is cooked to perfect. Chewy inside and a bit crispy outside. Gnocchi is so soft and melts in your mouth! Normally don’t do desert but tiramisu and lemon sorbet are my favorites. Totally worth coming to and recommend to any body coming from out of town!

Most delicious food and a delightful experience at this philly local restaurant. We had seafood stufato, lamb shank, house pasta. For dessert we tried cream brûlée and all the food is fresh & authentic. Absolutely top notch. I will be going back again and again to this place.

Being a foodie in Philly is a dream because of places like Burrata. The staff always creates one of the most pleasant experiences, and the food is consistently delicious. In terms of BYOB’s, this tops the list for the city. Thrilled to have this in our city.

Excellent BYOB place with great Italian dishes. The burrata, scallops, and seafood ravioli were fantastic and the limoncello moscarpone dessert was a perfect end to the meal.
