Fantastic neighborhood Japanese BYOB. For the sushi and rice lovers (not noodles unless in soup), they have SO MUCH to pick from and all amazing. The dinner bento boxes are fantastic for takeout (you get a little bit of everything). In the restaurant, I cannot recommend enough the spicy pork bibimbap. Imagine a blazing hot stone bowl with rice, vegetables, pork, that continues to cook and get crispy while you eat it. AH-MAZING. Other recommendations- pork gyoza (fantastic), triple spicy double, tuna, roll, island, roll, Medusa roll. Great flavor, creative, and large in size. The staff is always wonderful and so friendly, and if you do want something to drink, there is a beer store next-door (it is overpriced, but it is convenient).

Came by Doma for a Friday afternoon dinner and really enjoyed it. We didn't have any issues grabbing a seat without a reservation around 5pm. Some quick facts: Doma accepts cash or card, and is BYOB. There is actually a beer store literally 20 feet from the front door, so it's easy to grab some options if wanted. We grabbed a few different rolls and some appetizers and enjoyed them all. We particularly enjoyed the Island roll. The service was also great overall. I'd recommend swinging by!

We found this place by accident... after a whole day of walking around Philly, we were exhausted! We wanted to get some sushi but the 1st place we went to was take out only.. so we searched for the nearest one and it led us to Doma! It's a quaint lil place, very busy..BUT it was worth it! The food was absolutely delicious! We loved the jumbo shrimp dumpling, and the sushi rolls are awesome! A definite must-try!

We came in on a Friday evening and it was fairly busy but not overwhelmingly so. All of the staff members were nice but our waitress, Yuli, was so awesome. She was cheerful, polite, and so helpful. We asked if they offered omakase, but they aren’t specifically an omakase restaurant, so she ended up accommodating us in a different way. She surprised us with different dishes one at a time and just asked if we wanted another surprise one to come out or if we were done. Some things we tried were the shumai, different rolls (one with kiwi!), and even a crispy rice with tuna tartare kind of dish. While we didn’t totally love everything (the nachos for example), it was a nice way to try things we haven’t had before! The restaurant is nice and chill, the food is good, but the experience was that much better because of Yuli! Thank you! Edited to add: this is BYOB and other reviews have mentioned that there is a beer store very close by.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. There were three of us and we ordered a mix of appetizers, rolls and sashimi in a couple rounds. The gyoza are fantastic (regular and spicy). If you're looking for an extra kick, ask for their house sauce. It'll change you. Their canned Coke tasted like fountain coke. The interior design is beautiful and the chairs are wild. Be ready to sit back and relax. Share interesting stories with whoever you're with and order what sounds tasty and interesting.

My fav place to get sushi. Love their outdoor dining set up. Very unpretentious which I adore. Nice serving staff. Definitely a hidden gem! Tuna club is one of my favorites—highly recommend!

Good food but staff at the front is incredibly rude. They were not up front with the items that they did not have for my pre-paid take out order. When I asked about it, they were reluctant to give me a refund for the food that they were knowingly not giving me because it was an inconvenience for them. It took multiple asks and being ignored before finally receiving one. The food is good for your neighborhood sushi place, they just need staff with a better attitude.
