I’m usually cautious of places that have “famous” in its name, but this place is no joke. I’d you ever have an opportunity to try this place, definitely go on an empty stomach - like you fasted all day empty. The food is Incredible and the portions are MASSIVE. Definitely worth the trip! Their signature mustard blew my mind! I wish I asked to buy a bottle for him. Our waitress was so sweet and gave us cookies with our check. Will definitely come back again. Only downside is finding meter parking but there is a pay parking lot across the street.

Sandwiches were large and tasty. First time having matzo ball soup - reminds me of chicken noodle which is always a reminder of home. Definitely split sandwiches - we still brought leftovers home. They even serve wonderful cookies at the end of the meal. We actually came in looking for a sweets spots. They do have a nice collection when you walk in - ended up having dinner instead. Definitely will return!

Wonderful authentic diner! We had a roast beef sandwich and a grill cheese sandwich. Both were delicious!! While we were leaving we stop to pick up dessert - black out cake!! A slice is big enough to feed 4 or more and was delicious! The staff was friendly and welcoming. There is no parking lot...so you will have to find parking...but it is worth the effort.

The food is pricey but they give you very large servings. We ordered just three things: corned beef sandwich, matzo ball soup and fries. The sandwich was very dry, the matzo ball itself was delicious (the chicken in it wasn’t), and the fries were alright. The service was a bit lukewarm. However, we loved the seating, so that kind of made up for it ?

The food and service here is terrific. Our party of ten enjoyed a great variety of old time kosher style cuisine, such as matzo ball soup stuffed cabbage potato latkes and gigantic corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Their desserts also were over the top delicious. We recommend this fine establishment highly.

Such a amazing experience! It was like a trip back in time. Great service also, the waiters/waitresses were really helpful & nice! The deli side is full of every dessert & treats you could possibly think of! I have never seen such large portions of food in my life!! My husband & I had the Chicken Noodle Soup, I had the Open Faced Brisket Sandwich w/Macaroni Salad on the side & he had a huge Pastrami Sandwich w/ golden, crispy handcut fries. Only thing I would change is the Macaroni Salad portion. It was in a tiny ramekin served w/ that MASSIVE amount of Brisket. I gotta add that it was the best MS I had ever had in my 41 yrs of life! Lol! We will be back for sure! I can see why they've been there since 1923! 100 Yrs!

What generous portions! What great atmosphere! What cheeky, yet efficient service! You need to stop in and treat yourself to a repast that will tickle all five senses. And do indulge in a dessert, even if you have to order it "to go"!

What a great experience! This deli is only a few blocks from my girlfriend's apartment, yet this was our first visit! Pretty sure this place has EVERYTHING you could possibly expect from a top end Jewish deli. We decided to order a "regular" sized hot pastrami + turkey sandwich along with a bacon grilled cheese sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. The potato pancakes are a must-order on the side too! We took home a slice of confetti cake and that 100% exceeded my expectations. Our server was great and the overall atmosphere in this place was very fitting. I will say the prices are probably a little on the expensive side but definitely worth it. We will be returning for sure!
