The best of the best, forget the rest and just go here. So good and such an authentic feel and flavor to all the food. Pretty much communal seating so you sit with everyone and you enjoy your delicious food. Everything I get always seems to include the duck because the duck here is amazing!! So if you like food go here because you'll like this place because its spectacular every time, at least for me, hope it's the same for you.

One of THE best Chinese restaurants in NYC, no frills just good eats... I moved from NYC 3 years and every time I go back I have to stop by and get the half duck, roasted pork and a side of shrimp fried rice and/or the pork lomein.... Always consistent, always delicious. Each dish is made to order and packed with all the flavors. It never, ever disappoints.

In spite of the small size of this establishment, many had mentioned including myself that there’s often a problem with the line and the seating. My partner, my family and I figured out rather quickly today for lunch that one just had to get the person who is doing the seating to notice you and he would note how many in your party. We had a wait about 20 minutes for a table of 4 otherwise one will be seated at a communal table. The menu are widely assorted from BBQ item, soup to rice dishes. For some of us as a starter, began with their delicious soup and ordered the beef tripe with noodle and shrimp wontons with noodle. They were served hot and flavorful with a dash of soy sauce. As an entree, we ordered seafood with pan fried noodles, sliced beef with Chinese broccoli, soy sauced 1/4 chicken and chicken with vegetables over noodles. We’ve been here numerous times and don’t expect warm customer service here; but expect excellent authentic food which we could recommend.

This used to be my go-to place for late night eats besides 69 Bayard in the 90's to about 2010. I'm glad it came back after the renovation. The food I ordered was okay, I remember it being much better. I will go back for the noodle soups, the rice box meals and the beef chow fun as those were the go-to items that pulled me in constantly.

Met some friends for a late lunch on a November Friday. The place was packed but the diners move out quickly so we only waited a few minutes. We shared everything and enjoyed it all. We could have shared two won ton soups among the four people - get them with noodles! Picture are: Roast duck and pork over rice; Hong Kong style ginger scallion lo mein, shrimp won ton soup with noodles and beef chow fun

i wish i could come here every day :-) we were seated very quickly, the food came quickly, and everything was delicious. only small thing was the roast pig was a bit cold compared to the noodles. but the congee really blew me away. i usually would get congee at congee village for $8-9, this was 6.25 and delicious. i really can’t complain

There was this great communal vibe - when queueing to get in; queueing to use the bathroom; the folks you end up sitting with.. almost everyone was filled with anticipation, were regulars before the restaurant was closed for months during COVID, or ex New Yorkers now left & one of their must-do when back visiting is to come back for their fav. Ordered the 3-Treasures rice (choice of 3 portions of meat on bed of cabbage & steamed rice), & a prawn paste dough fritter. All great tasting & HK-restaurant/ cafe standard & on point. One of the nicest dining experiences in NYC for me. The only downside maybe - cash only. Will be back for sure ??

Excellent place for some good Hong Kong style noodles!! Also their rice and seafood options are a must try. FYI space and seating maybe a bit limited and tight.
