Really enjoyed eating upstairs with a view of the classic heights area. Very clean and nicely decorated. Food was delicious. We came at lunch so it was too hot to sit on the patio but will come back for happy hour next time once it gets cooler out. I took a star off because the service was sooo slow. Only one other table that had already finished eating by the time we were sat. Took us over an hour.

I was, unfortunately, pretty disappointed with this place. I was drawn in by the deviled eggs with fried chicken on top, and saw what looked to be a great selection of food to choose from. The deviled eggs were the only flavorful item out of the several we selected. It seems like almost everything else is cooked without any salt or seasonings. The staff is friendly, but rarely around when needed. Overall, I don't think I'd return since there are other better food options nearby.

Found this gem and enjoyed an evening out for our dinner while in Houston. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the fried chicken. Food was good, only complaint is the flies that got in as the outside terrace door opened. The drinks were good and the food was good.

Had my daughter's birthday party here recently. It was my first time visiting this establishment. The managers (Caleb, Hector, and Evelyn) and staff was absolutely wonderful. I don't know how many people would show up for the party, so I didn't make a reservation. Despite that fact, the managers secured enough tables for my guest, and our waitress was great! She really worked with our and 15 kids and made the whole experience incredible. The food was great, too! My daughter was totally delighted and truly enjoyed her birthday party. I can't the Harold's staff enough for making her day special.

So much good potential here!! The menu pulls you in, but the actual food wasn't really that great. Wonderful venue with plenty of possibilities but everything could have been a little more seasoned. Love the staff though!!

Great place for brunch. Food is tasty and their mimosa flight is worth try! It was pretty empty for a Saturday brunch though, but we didn't complain as service was dedicated to us!

Hidden gem! ? Located in the Old Heights! I love the vibe of this place. There’s a downstairs bar and upstairs has seating indoor and outdoor. I also was pleased to see there were fans on the deck as well! I really enjoyed the brunch menu, it was definitely cajun inspired. They had a special on mimosa carafes for $15! I also had a perfect bloody mary! Definitely would return. I recommend reserving a table for brunch.

My wife and I wanted to grab a bite out but keep it in the neighborhood so we decided on Harold’s. We sat upstairs but I heard the do some good deep dish pizza downstairs. I asked if I could get one of the pizzas from downstairs. The waiter was checked and said they are not making pizzas today which seemed weird considering that’s a good chunk of their downstairs menu. Also, it seems confusing to have separate menus for upstairs and downstairs to start with. Anyway, we used the QR code to get the food and drink menus but unfortunately, they don’t keep the drink menu updated so the first few beers I asked for were no longer available. We ordered the bread service and what they brought out is crostini. We asked the waiter if they could just bring some bread and he was able to find some. They have some other dishes that say crostini, but the bread service clearly says bread. Probably another instance of having a more updated menu. My wife ended up getting the chicken fried chicken and I got the shrimp and grits. Both the mains were good. We got the granny cake and that was a highlight. Overall, good if not a bit quirky.
