Came to Houston to visit family and stopped at Lazy Dog for Brunch. The hosts greater us right away and we’re friendly. We sat at the high chairs in the bar. The quality of the food was great. I ordered their wings, Nashville Hot and Sweet and Sour. They were a good portion, but the Nashville hot wasn’t spicy and not wet enough for me. The steak my husband ordered was very good and so was the Street Corn fries. Everything was Fresh! The waiter could of been a bit more attentive but was friendly. Would recommend you to try them out.

This is a great spot to check out. We received a complimentary waffle chips for first time guest. The food was delicious and didn't take long to arrive to our table. The wine and alcohol drinks were delicious as well. Our server was okay she didn't seem to happy that day but didn't mess up on our order which was good.

We had dinner here tonight. The atmosphere was great. We sat on the patio so we got to see all kinds of cute dogs coming with their families. The food was good, but my dish came out quite a bit after the others and when it got to me it literally had 2 pieces of broccoli in it. I waited and no one came to check on it and since the manager delivered it I figured it was a lost cause and I went ahead and ate it. So the 4 stars is for the service which was pretty much 3 stars but we did enjoy the food and everyone can have an off day.

This spot is my go-to for lunch. They never miss a beat! I’ve tried about half the menu and all of it was great. In the photo, I ordered the lunch portion of the Chicken Parmesan but substituted the noodles for fettuccine Alfredo and it’s so good. The restaurant is a bit unorthodox and they put a spin on classics for sure, drinks are great as well. You’re allowed to bring your dog & they even have a menu for them too, you’d just have to lounge out on the patio. I also recommend trying the Bacon wrapped bison meatloaf or pot roast if you’re wanting something other than chicken?

I'm generally suspect of trying out new places. So many joints suck. However, Lazy Dog is the rare exception. Their menu (both beer AND food) help them stand apart. We tried FOUR different appetizers (off the Happy Hour menu) and were shocked at how good they were. We especially liked the calamari, buffalo cauliflower, and edamame. Extra credit goes to the hiring agent. We personally worked with three different servers and they were all great. Especially Nick. He was amazingly good spirited. Whoever hired Nick and the rest of the staff is a genius. Each rep was professional and happy to help. Color me "shocked." Good food AND good service? Yes! Lazy Dog did it. Two big thumbs up!

This place lives up to its name! There were so many dogs here and the wait to sit on the good-sized patio was lengthy. We didn't happen to have our pupper with us on this trip, so we sat inside and were seated right away. We were feeling finger food on this occasion and the menu gave us a plethora of options on that front. We had never seen Crispy Deviled Eggs anywhere before, so we had to give them a try. They fry just the egg whites and then put the filling on top. Plus, they are garnished with the bacon candy, so it's like a 2 for 1. The Umami Fries were kind of spicy and had plenty of sauce on them (and that means something coming from me). The Fried Hush Puppies were not like Hush Puppies we have had elsewhere. They were more like deep-fried mashed potato balls, but they were tasty. The Mini Corn Dogs were nothing special, but we mostly ordered those for our daughter, anyway. The Goat Cheese + Pepper Jelly was also yummy and had more cheese than you could handle with the accompanying crackers. We didn't try them, but a fun thing this restaurant does is "TV Dinners." They package up their menu items, freeze them, and you can take them home in retro-looking packaging to reheat and eat at a later date. It's a fun concept.

The food was ok. The pickled cucumbers were good. The Cajun fries and ranch were really tasty. The best part was my server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. My first order was too spicy. She returned it to the kitchen and didn't charge me. Without hesitation. Great place to stop in for a good bite to eat.

I’m mad at myself for passing by this place many time before stopping by!! This place rocks!! Pot Roast was delectable and so so tender! Everything was made from scratch. The kids meal tenders were the juiciest ever, the fries were hot also. The only thing was my pineapple upside down cake was pretty dry and I feel like they got me for $10. I would’ve take it back if gas wasn’t 4.79 a gallon for me! Y’all owe me a dessert on the house next time Lazy Dog :/
