Ended up here unexpectedly after my sons and I could not get into nearby places on a cold night. Creative menu, good service, unpretentious, and nicely seasoned food. Can recommend the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and brisket flatbread pizza. The Hemingway cocktail was tasty as well.

Just had brunch here. Small yet creative menu with affordable drinks. The food was very tasty and I look forward to going back! Update: I went back and had the Secret Chicken dish from the menu. Juicy and flavorful chicken, which I highly recommend! Our waiter John was excellent as well, went above and beyond.

Cute little spot for brunch and dinner! We went for brunch and ordered a wonderful spread with a side of mimosa! Everything was quite delicious when you are hungry.

So I’m a foodie who loves to travel. I’m saying this so you understand that when I say this was one of the top 5 meals of my life, I mean it. Perfect portions, fantastic choices, the service (Katie)was superb, the seating outside was lovely. I will dream about that meal for a long time and creme brûlée is ruined for me forever because it will never be as amazing as it was a Libertine. Definitely coming back every time I’m in Philly.

Great cocktails and atmosphere! However, reservations above 8 are accommodated with two separate tables, and the burgers we ordered were not cooked to specification. They probably would have been great had they been cooked right. We also stopped by on the night of a big football game, so the kitchen may have been extra busy.

The food is always good. Often visit for brunch but dinner this time was good. Service was less that stellar but I think the server was new.

Worst Restaurant Week meal I’ve had in Philadelphia. The quality and portion of ingredients was laughable; the preparation even worse. We ordered chicken and shrimp. Neither was prepared with salt. Both overcooked. Only 5 medium sized shrimp. I’d estimate the ingredient cost at $3-5. The appetizer board was probably from a can. Nothing fresh, or good. Avoid!

Went here for the first time tonight after living 2 blocks away for about 6 months. I noted some reviews before coming about people waiting a while here and I just assumed they were being over dramatic, but it happened to us as well. It took about 20 minutes for someone to even come over and bring us water and take our drink orders. Drinks were great when they came out, only good part about this place. No one came back to our table for 25 more minutes to take any food order from us because of “miscommunication”. We saw the waiters whispering and looking over their shoulder at us at the hostess stand and at the bar area before anyone decided who’s table we were, we had been there for 45 minutes! We sat for half of our meal with an empty water container on our table and empty glasses. Our waitress came back to check on us once not offering any refill of any of our drinks with empty glasses on the table. Multiple workers (including what looked like the manager/chef) walked past us as well, no one acknowledging any of our empty glasses or plates. Some of the worst service I’ve had at a restaurant living in Philly so far. Very disappointing experience. Will not be back.
