Flavor: B Service: A Tea: B Solo dining: A I loved the salad being served as soon as I sat down. And the delicious ranch dressing. The country fried steak was good - seasoned, breading that stuck to it, and not greasy. I'm not sure if it was homemade but it was good nonetheless. The upcharge for the "loaded" baked potato is a rip-off for a tiny cup of cheese, sour cream, and bacon bits. And if you don't get it "loaded" then I guess you just get butter. Since when is that the standard? The tea had a funny taste to me. I almost always get a tea to-go but not here. It's a unique place and I'm glad I went but it's not somewhere I'm itching to get back to.

Zero wait time on a Saturday evening. Service was great and food came out promptly. Steaks were huge and tasty. Just the right amount of seasoning. Cute barn like atmosphere with wooden bench seats . The rolls and salad that come before the meal are delicious

The food was nothing special. The steak was cooked how I asked for it but food was not even hot when it arrived at table. Kids chicken tenders was 1 strip over fries, and not very good took one bite then left it.

Steak was cold... I know rare steak should have cold red center, but the whole thing was cold. Fish tasted like it was from a frozen bag. Sweet potato fries were rubbery, like they had either been microwaved, or sat under a heat lamp to long. Staff was friendly, but the place over all did not live up to the hype.

We were headed to another restaurant and I saw this from the highway. I said let's go there instead. First time here. I am super happy we did. The rolls, steak, float, chicken, service, smiling employees. It was a fantastic experience. The girls were dressed like cowgirls. The walls showed ranches in Texas. It won't be my last time eating here.

First time visit. Unique restaurant with a barn style atmosphere. Food is good. Service needs a great amount of improvement. Even with the service flaws, I recommend this restaurant to visit at least once when in San Antonio.

We came from Tennessee wanting the REAL Texas steakhouse experience not this fancy pretend stuff that we can get from any chain restaurant any where in the US. We are so glad we went with this place!!! The steaks were beyond amazing!!!!! I always order medium rare anywhere I go hoping someone will finally get it right and here they know how to cook them! The ribeye seriously melted in my mouth. The staff was super friendly and made us feel like we were locals.

This place looks promising from the outside, but the food is does not measure up to the aesthetic. I ordered a medium cooked 8oz ribeye with a baked potato. The ribeye was served medium well and very bland. No flavor. No seasoning. And the texture of the meat felt like it was cooked on a flat top. The sides are also bland, if you want anything on your potato, it will come on the side and you will have to build it yourself. The quality of the food and the way that it’s served is “lazy”, very lack luster and over priced.
