The food is amazing. But you knew that. The service is beyond compare. That, more than the food, is the best part of this experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about food. When you visit, you want to ask for Anthony. All his wine recommendations were spot on. He takes better care of us than mom (love you mom!).

We were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Good music & decor. Staff is professional/friendly/well dressed. Wine list is smashing. The food has remained consistent in quality and deliciousness over the years. Be sure to bring a large party of serious diners to try out as much as you can, as they also serve seasonal dishes. We opened with the dry aged kanpachi, tuna tartare sugar snap peas, little gem salad followed by mushroom crispy rice ?macaroni & chickpeas. The whole boiled chicken is mandatory, as is every dish it seems. Dessert was bomb. Staff let us chill late. Our special guest Skinny Pablo said it's his favorite restaurant in town.

Good food, service, and environment. It's a little pricey, though. My favorite dishes were the mushroom crispy rice and the chicken dish (the Hainan chicken). To drink, I got their peach non-alcoholic drink. While it was nice they had non-alcoholic cocktail options, it was probably my least favorite thing. It wasn't bad, but it didn't seem worth the cost. Street parking wasn't bad. Another note - if you're prone to mosquito bites, avoid sitting out in the patio.

I cannot express how impressed I was. When we first arrived, we were a little confused on where it was. But, it all worked out as soon as we saw their sign. Dave Chang and his team really outdid themselves with their strategic location and design of the restaurant. The food was incredible and I cannot recommend the mushroom bibimbap enough. Reminds me of when my mother used to cook a similar dish. The only reason for the 4 is because of the drinks. I didn’t quiet feel like the drinks were the best. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the shared dishes because there was only two of us. But, I will definitely come back again the next time I’m in LA!

Grade (89): We ordered the Tuna tartare (better than average), the Butter with Buckwheat honey (fabulous, specially with that bread, it can qualify as a dessert) the Butter has cracked black pepper on it that really components the Butter. The Beef Shank, was just the meat, it was ok, a bit salty. The cauliflower and the citrus sauce was excellent. The mushroom and crispy rice Amazing. That crispy rice is the best I've had so far. The desert: Waffle is something special, specially with the jam and the foam which masquerades as ice cream, it really works. Very light. All in all a very good experience. I will definitely go back.

Food was delicious and the space very inviting and beautifully designed. We tried the cultured butter and honey and the smoked eggplant & pine nut bing. Both were amazing (especially surprising the butter) and the bings were super soft and yummy! The little gem salad was exquisite, the stuffed pepper were really good and the homemade ranch that came with them was amazing. The crispy potatoes were awesome, just a little spicy. Big positive surprise was the shrimp crispy rice... OMG the flavor and the texture made it a unique experience (MUST TRY!!!). We also loved the macaroni & chickpea dish, simple ingredients but perfectly balanced flavors. We loved this place.

Met and exceeded my expectations! I made a reservation 3-4 weeks out, and made sure to reserve the short rib in advance. I am a big fan of David Chang, and was so happy to eat at his LA restaurant. We followed the waiters recommendations and ordered items from every section of the menu. The cocktails were also very fun. The ambiance was awesome, music wasn't was quiet enough that we could talk to each other, but loud enough that we couldn't hear the clanging of forks and spoons as we savored every bite. I would recommend anyone to visit Majordomo when they come to LA!

This has become my favorite spot in LA. The food did not disappoint. I cannot even describe how good it all was. We ordered the bing bread with eggplant and pine nuts (lightly smoky and savory), oysters (bright and fresh), crispy potatoes (spicy, crunchy and creamy), mushroom crispy rice (umami and nice buttery crunch), boiled chicken (tender, savory, and healing), and a Peach drink. Plus our server, Hana, was fabulous!
