I did not have an ideal dining experience at Mora Italian in Central Phoenix. Overpriced, salty food, cold food, undercooked food, and a waitress that literally stole $21 from me. So sad that wait staff have to resort to being devious to get more than their tips. Good thing I had a great time out with a friend. The chicken was over salted. The bread appetizer was forgotten, and then when we kept asking it eventually came out barely warm. The Brussel sprouts were under cooked. Additionally, the waitress never brought a knife and I had go ask from another waitress. To top it off I left $160 and asked for change (for a tip) and she brought back $8 on a $131 bill. I left a message. We'll see if the Manager calls. - Trent Walters, Manager called and we will try it again when I am back on that side if town again.

The food and cocktails were really good at this place. The atmosphere is really fun. They have a nice menu but the service is a little slow which is why I deducted a star. Overall good food and good restaurant and we would return.

From the trendy and hip artwork and people to the flavor and art of the wonderful food, Mora will not disappoint. Wife and I ate there last night and had a great experience doing the tasting menu . Just like their other restaurant, Americano way tooooooo much food!!!! But if you can take leftovers home with you do it! If you are visiting I might not do the tasting menu unless you have a fridge in your hotel room . Will come back but order off the menu instead so I can finish the food - can’t wait to try other things

This place had great food! It’s more upscale even though the restaurant decor doesn’t look like it. The food was yummy and the drinks were pretty good too but loaded with ice. I’d go back for sure. We had the tasting menu and it was more than enough for three hungry people. We took a lot of food home. Only downfall was the host staff. We had reservation for 3 and they sat everyone coming in after us from parties of 2 , 4, and 6 which was kind of annoying…considering our reservation couldn’t have been after theirs since it was set for opening dinner service ?

The food and drinks were excellent. I got a pizza and my wife a pasta. There was just an issue with the service which is why It got two stars. We actually made a dinner reservation for my wife's birthday, I noted that on their website. We show up about 5 minutes early but I ended up having to wait at least 20 minutes to actually be in our seats. I get it, It might have been busy. We place our order to get our drinks, shortly after we place our order for food. We get our drinks and our appetizer around the same time. And then began the waiting game... I'm a pretty patient guy but we actually waited about an hour or so for our main meal. So we get our meal and as stated it was delicious. The waiter takes our food to be boxed, But never returned with it and gave us a dessert menu. I was confused, I stated on the reservation that it was my wifes birthday, The hostess knew about this because she mentioned it along with our waiter. Now usually when I make a reservation and mention that it's for a birthday, the restaurant will do something nice. But nothing was done here, I'm not sure if they just don't do anything, or if they completely forgot. And I felt that there was no need to mention it in person since again the hostess and waiter already knew. I would have paid for the dessert but I just wanted it presented in a birthday fashion. Well, we tell our waiter no we're not interested in dessert, he leaves and returns with the check says have a good night and we still didn't get our to go box. We waited for about 5 minutes to see if he would return but no. At that point I was fed up and we left. Which sucks cuz it's such a nice restaurant with good food, and great drinks only to be tarnished by this service. Maybe next time they'll do better.

Amazing culinary presentation of delicious foods. Drinks are super good! Very professional staff and such a great atmosphere. Highly recommended for family, friends, or dates. This is a restaurant worth visiting again and again.

Pricey, but top notch service and food. We had bar seating sans reservations, seats weren't cozy but not uncomfortable, good wine pour. We got the last day of restaurant week, so not the traditional menu. Perfectly cooked salmon, a good fried half chicken (but boneless!), Stromboli to start and nice chocolatey dessert. We'll have to return for the regular menu.

I really shouldn't be leaving a review since I don't want more people going here! Had the polenta and their chicken entree with a cocktail...or two. Then had dessert which was delicious. Kudos to whoever designed the layout and the furniture as it all goes well together. Our server Jenny was great.
