Wow I really love the layout and decoration of this restaurant! The sushi is delicious and the service is wonderful! They didn't rush us out even though we were there late. Not overpriced like so many other sushi spots in LA.

Definitely a unique and must try place in LA! A very tranquil atmosphere combined with elegant and sophisticated touch. I'd recommend visiting it after/before the rooftop(Perch) since it's basically a few steps away and you get to see the the top spots of Downtown. The service is amazing and profesional! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because their sushi didn't impress me at all. I got, supposedly, the top choice/house specials, and it just didn't taste that wonderful. The rice tasted old and the meat was just ok, so the overall taste palate was alright but nothing memorable. I'd come back to try other meals, since we had great experience apart from the sushi and the menu seemed promising in terms of choice variety.

For a restaurant focusing on sushi, their ramen is actually pretty bomb! Very flavorful and the noods had a lovely chew. The kurobota pork was fatty and just was super delish in the best possible way. A filling dish and I really enjoyed this more than the sushi. The vibe is very cool too. Modern atmosphere with cool decor and good service. It's in the basement of the hotel. There's a cool rooftop bar (Perch) at the top floor that is worth checking out. It gets pretty busy on the weekends with a wait to get in though!

Had dinner last night with a group of nine for my best friend’s bachelorette party and it was amazing! We were told we had to go with a pre fixe menu since we were a large group which I was a little hesitant about but decided it was worth it for the ambiance. For $75pp we got to choose a variety of family style appetizers, sushi rolls, nigiri, and desserts. We had three vegetarians which I noted on the reservation and they took the time to call me the day of and ask about specifics/tell me they would plan special vegetarian dishes. So helpful! We got there and WOW….this place is so cool and so unique. Great ambiance, DJ, and Japanese art work everywhere. Plus the food was fantastic! This was a 3 hour, 6 course meal and the food just kept coming! Everything had little “congratulations” messages and they printed us our own custom menus! The cocktails here are also delicious and unique, very picture worthy! The staff was so kind and helpful and we felt very attended to. This was honestly such a great place to celebrate and so much bang for your buck. Would highly recommend!

I'm giving this place a three star solely on that the seafood quality was so high and the cocktails were delicious especially the smoked whiskey. But every warm appetizer we ordered was cold pork belly skewers and steak skewers and steak skewers tasted very bland. half way throw are service waiter disappeared and we kept on having to flag down random people to get what we needed.my fiance surprise me by taking me to this place for my birthday because I've been wanting to visit this place but we live all the way out in the inland empire I was excited but the place fell short of being as good as I thought it was going to be. If you decide to come try this place stick to the sushi was very delicious and cocktails were too hope you get better service than we did.

Ambience was decent but the food was subpar for the price you pay. The presentation of the food is mediocre compared to places in Las Vegas in the same price range. The drinks however, are where they excelled. All the cocktails were enjoyed by our party.

Decent experience. Easy to get to as far as valet & public parking. Food is good except I’m a sushi enthusiast and the sashimi so thinly cut here cannot satisfy my cravings or worth the price, I think. Try other stuffs but take your sushi craving elsewhere. Worth a visit again to try other stuffs. Pricing: $$ decently priced. Overall score based on location, food, experience = 8/10

I can't give a 5 because the food is only so so. They try too hard on flavors and every dish feels like the sauce is overpowering the fish and udon. However, ambiance is excellent, fun and really clever how they did it for an underground place. Clever and fun.
