Nella Pizza e Pasta

Order the Vesuvio “stuffed” pizza. It was delicious. The calamari was also a hit. I ordered it twice. The lamb pasta didn’t look like much when it arrive but the taste was good so that’s most important. We went on a weekday evening and it was busy. We had long wait times. The staff were overall friendly but I believe the service would have been better if staffing was increased. Our final bill was $120… not cheap. I’ll be back one day but I’ll share an entree and skip the second serving of calamari.

Wow. My wife picked this place for its reviews and ratings and they were everything they were raved about. I for got a pic for the calamari and shrimp appetizer and it was perfect. They served olive oil, cheese and bread with our generous drinks, very nice. We shared a risotto dish that we’ve never tried before and couldn’t have prepared for how unique and delicious it was. Add to that a capocollo, artichoke, black olives and cheese flat bread that was outstanding. I also tried the Amaro Montenegro after dinner digestive and now have another mix I need to add to our home liquor selection. All in all, a fine Italian pizzeria to add to our list of great places to eat.

Came with my family on a whim and it was a lovely spot for a late lunch/early dinner - Nicolas was excellent! We got several kinds of pizzas, fantastic margaritas, and the best 5-cheese risotto! Highly recommend.

This pizza sells itself! ? I like to try different kinds of pizzas when I’m traveling around. And I tried this place my first night in Chicago, and loved it so much! I can describe it as the most authentic margarita pizza I’ve tried. It is cooked in firewood and it’s soooooo cheesy. I highly recommend it. Enjoy! ✨

Nella Pizza e Pasta has been a Chicago staple for me since they were in Lincoln Park. Their food is top quality and rivals any sort of Neapolitan pizza you can get in Italy. The Diavola is a favorite! I always feel welcome in the restaurant and the staff is so friendly. Could not recommend it more!

Amazing pizza. It's coal fired and the dough is hand tossed. All ingredients are super fresh. Great date spot. It's worth the prices.

Good wood oven pizza options. Sharable apps go great with a few Italian beer options. Finish the meal up with a Nutella pizza, espresso and grappa. Super attentive service.

Took a friend there for her Birthday. Food and service were excellent. I can see going there again. I had a seafood dish with pasta that was served in foil on a plate. Oh, it was delicious. The Birthday lady had the salmon and she said it was so tasty. A real gem!
