This hotel was amazing from the rooms to the location and especially the staff! The whole ambiance of the hotel was superb! I would recommend this hotel to everybody! Edie was especially helpful and polite! Our first room had an issue with the AC and they switched our room with no problem at all and were very apologetic! I can not praise this place enough! If I am ever in San Antonio again this Is definitely where I am staying!! Thank you to all the staff that made my stay memorable and special! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Edit: I think it's hilarious that just because I knocked the mattress in the room, the owner had to post a counter review. I love the pettiness. Makes me really want to stay there again. I gave this hotel a 3 because the room we were in was on par with your Motel 6/Super 8 hotels. The service was top self, they had a fresh breakfast that ran us $20 for 2 adults and 2 kids that had fresh eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, bread, OJ, and milk, and parking was only $20 which is a bargain in today's economy. Everyone on staff was awesome and made my entire family feel welcome. We needed extra blankets, and within 5 minutes, we had them. Same with towels and toilet paper. The front desk workers were amazing and answered all our questions and took care of us every step of the way. As far as location goes, it was a 10 minute walk to the Riverwalk and 5-7 minutes from food and shopping, which is a huge plus. The room, however, was another story. The mattresses were hard as a rock, and it was obvious that whomever bought them went the low-cost route. The shower fixtures, while nice, were installed poorly and sprayed outside the shower. The toilet had a shallow bowl that made it so that when you went to clean up, you almost always dipped at least a knuckle in the water. It's almost as if the room was an afterthought, which is a shame because this place could be everything else was really good. Overall, for the price point, the hotel is worth it if you are looking for a place with a great location and don't really mind where you sleep. If you want the comfy bed and not having to worry about anything room related, however, you may want to keep looking.

We didn't try the breakfast as it is made to order but it looked delicious. The rooms are quaint and quiet. We loved the balcony and seeing the city. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

This place was CUTE! Older hotel, a little out of date, but really quaint. The staff was SO friendly - upon check-in, I was already laughing it up with the front desk, and they also introduced to me "Big Red" soda (which tastes like bubblegum)! My room had a jet tub, which I enjoyed after a long night of travel. The whole room was clean, the property is centrally located to the Riverwalk restaurants, and the price was really reasonable - esp since I had booked the night before!

This was our first time in San Antonio. This boutique hotel is such a cute and comfortable place! The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming! The beds and pillows were perfect! The balcony was beautiful with plants, lights and a view of the city. The riverwalk was a short distance and the parking garage gave us peace of mind. We will definitely come back to this lovely gem!

Staff is very polite, parking is also easy to get in and out of! Rooms were clean and the view from the balconies are great. You can get to the river walk in a 2 minute walk! Also there is a great taco place with neon lights across the street for breakfast. The only thing I didn’t like was the creepy music that occasionally placed in the halls, but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

This historic hotel was so much more than I expected for the price. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is within an easy walk to Riverwalk and Alamo. Loved staying here.

The room was nice, clean, ac worked amazingly… however the shower had someone else’s hair from the stay before in it… we didn’t shower since it was a one night stay so that was a bit disgusting. My main issue is they charged me money without authorization. I got my deposit back but then a $10 charge popped up. ( I did not park at the hotel. I can show proof all night I parked at the corresponding parking garage. However the lady did give me a parking slip telling me to use it for free the next morning when I left.)I called to ask about it and get it fixed and they took my number but I never got a call back. I will be disputing this and I’m not very happy with their customer service. The front desk ladies are nice but you can’t charge someone and not tell them why. That’s bad business….
