Our first trip here was in June this year, and it was our first experience at an Omni Hotel. Don't be deceived by the outside of the hotel, it doesn't look like anything special. Once you get inside the hotel, it's very warm and inviting. I love all the historical pictures all over hotel, and the history of the building is posted as well. Our room, wow! We got upgraded to a River View room and it was BEAUTIFUL! We loved the balcony over looking the River Walk and the room was extremely spacious. The bathroom was beautiful too, decorated in white marble, the shower was huge and had amazing water pressure. Beds so comfy I didn't want to get up made it such a wonderful trip that we're headed back this month!

Highly recommended! Best hotel I’ve stayed at in San Antonio for the room, the details for comfort, making you feel welcome, and for the location. I’m from Little Rock and have traveled a lot for work. The details for comfort when you travel to make it easier especially when traveling with family matter so much! This hotel had bottled water in the room for us, a large shower head with great water pressure, a separate dressing area so others could use the shower and get ready at the same time, an actual fan in the bathroom that kept fog off the mirror, a full length mirror for dressing, a small refrigerator and a balcony. It was fantastic and we will stay here every time we come to San Antonio. The staff was also SO WELCOMING at checkin. 5 Stars!

This has to be my favorite Omni I’ve visited. The location is absolutely beautiful sitting on the San Antonio Riverwalk downtown. The property is walking distance from endless shops, restaurants, touristy sites - and the list goes on. Carrie (forgive my spelling) at the front desk was phenomenal to say the least. Went out of her way to be kind and make my experience the best yet! The bedrooms are spacious and clean, staff is outstanding, restaurant options were both fantastic for hotel - and the valet was also great, had my car ready within minutes of calling! Any time I come to San Antonio this is officially my go to. Thanks to the whole staff!

I had a great stay here in October 2022. It's a beautiful crazy maze of a historic hotel in a prime location on the River Walk. The staff are exceptional, especially Jeremy the Bell Captain/Manager who went above and beyond to help me. Only advice is to do your homework on the rooms before you go - they are not created equal due to the layout of the facility. For example, there are rooms off the courtyard that share a wall with the elevator, which can be heard going up and down at all hours. These rooms also have glass French doors instead of regular doors so you can't leave the room without leaving the curtains open for people to see in; not ideal for single travelers. Just make sure you specify a pool view if possible. Very nice rooms on that side but not as expensive as the River Walk view rooms.

Very nice hotel with a nice view of the Riverwalk. Convenient for walking to most everything. The hotel bar is very nice as well. Our group spent an afternoon at the rooftop pool across the street at the sister hotel that they allow you to enjoy. We had an excellent bartender named Denise that took super good care of us poolside. The pool is small but we had it all to ourselves. There is also a hot tub up there.

Just spent this weekend there for my anniversary and this is by far the best Hotel I have ever been to!!!! We had a private balcony right by the famous "Selena" bridge. They had us some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and the staff was great!! I will definitely be making another trip this summer :)

Pictures were misleading to me. I thought the Hotel looked and was a much newer property. When we arrived I was kinda in shock we paid as much as we did for the hotel. My wife didn't seem to mind as much but, when you pay almost $500 a night with taxes, fees, valet, and incidentals you expect a certain level of service and comfort. IE a much nicer place than what this place is. It's an old hotel that smells like your grandmas old house. The balcony was pretty but, the room we had shared the balcony with 4 other rooms.

This is an absolutely beautiful historic hotel with great character. It's located right on the Riverwalk, so noise can be a bit of an issue if you have a Riverwalk facing room. The rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable. Absolutely love the staff. They are very friendly and engaging. Ask the valets for their suggestions for restaurants that are off the beaten path. We stayed during Spring Break and were amazed at how efficiently the staff processed the gaggle of college kids coming in to check-in all at once.
