Just an absolutely outstanding experience. Start to finish, this was the last of Keller's restaurants for us to dine in and I'm glad we saved it for last. We honestly had so much fun... and even got a tour of the kitchen and met Chef Thomas Keller at the end of our meal. Get the wine pairings and sit back and relax. Service is exceptional, food is amazing and inventive. Pictures barely do the night justice. Loved it.

This was hands down the best dining experience I've ever had. They greeted me with a complimentary glass of champagne and the service was phenomenal. Each dish was perfect and the timing of delivery was on point. They even let me see the kitchen after I was finished. I will definitely try to be back on my next visit to the city

Just an incredible dining experience. From the champagne to the custom cocktails and each beautifully plated and delicious course, I loved every aspect of being at Per Se. The desserts were dreamy and the kitchen tour was also impressive

Per Se is an iconic New York restaurant by The French Laundry’s chef, Thomas Keller. It doesn’t disappoint: the appetizers, cheeses and desserts from the tasting menu are some of the best food we’ve ever had in New York. I’d highlight the impeccable oysters with caviar, the tomato and heart of palm salad, the cheese pastry with truffles, the chocolate chai pudding, and the cappuccino ice cream. The view from the tables is gorgeous. Service is also top notch and delightfully friendly (feels like you’re not on Manhattan - chuckles). We just weren’t as impressed with the meat dishes - the crab pierogi was good, but not mouth-dropping; the chicken was the best of the three, but still not awe inspiring; and the lamb prime rib tasted blander and less tender than we hoped. I’m giving 4/5 stars only because, when you pay this high a price for a meal, my expectations are that every step of it will be moving and memorable. This was the case with a good part of the menu, but far from all of it. Still worth the visit, in my opinion!

The food is amazing and the service is fantastic! My son received his first fencing medal, and we celebrated here. Everyone congratulated him, including the chief, who served him extra dessert. As a special treat, we visited the kitchen. My son told me we had to go back to this restaurant afterward because it is so great! lol

Overall a great experience. Service and ambiance are what to expect for restaurants of this caliber. Somehow I was expecting a bit more for the cuisine per se. It lacks a little bit of magic and harmony compared to other fine dining places I’ve been to in NYC. Not a total lack of, of course, but I was hoping an even higher level of excellence. Many dishes, while good, can leave some room to be nitpicked. For instance, I find the smell of the oyster in the highly famed “oyster and pearls” a bit too salient and slightly incompatible with the rest of the dish. Dress code has been relaxed. While some patrons dress nicely, some dress in a fairly casual way. I would prefer they maintain a higher standard in this regard. To end in a good point, I like the way they price. Service and soft drinks seem to be included. And the coffee is good even for a fine dining restaurant. Overall definitely worth a visit at least once for a foodie. I’m just unsure how frequent I might visit, if I would dine here again.

Impeccable service, but the food was on the salty side, especially for French cuisine. The complimentary cookies I received before leaving were also too sweet. It's a so-so experience for the price you pay.

Impeccable, but, I prefer French Laundry mainly because I felt like is was just copied over to New York. Now don't get me wrong, it was amazing but I would have loved to visit Per Se in the winter and sat near that huge fireplace overlooking a snow covered city. So how about this, go to French Laundry in the summer, visit Per Se in the Winter and live your best life! There is one two top that has a bench sit. Make sure you don't sit here. The bench is remarkably uncomfortable, although it does provide a great view of the dining room and city. you just have to sit upright the entire time when we want to relax the most.
