I asked the hostess about gluten-free options. She said yes and sent us to the 3rd floor. We were met by the next hostess who asked if I was the gluten-free guest. Within moments, she brought Chef Fernando. He explained the bread he’s found, his best pasta dish, and others. He made me feel so comfortable. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries (because fries are a treat for people like me!) He has dedicated fryers for gluten-free, seafood, gluten items, etc. I felt safe and confident ordering! Wow!Delicious lunch with great service from the hostesses, the chef, and our server, Ebony!

We were here March 1st with 4 adults and 2 kids. Wonderful experience! The food was sooo good!! Super confusing on how so many other reviews were saying it was bad.. all of us enjoyed everything so much! We were on the 3rd floor, it was an awesome experience! Our server was on top of everything! He didn't forget anything and we had drinks and refills as soon as we needed them. I had asked him quietly to make sure I got the check and he made it super easy to take care of it before my in-laws even noticed! The rest of the staff that we interacted with were also great. Definitely seems like they love where they work and coming from the industry, that's awesome to see. If we end up in the area again we will definitely be coming back in!!

Amazing customer service from everyone. It is clean as well. Sadly the food is average and being honest I could make it better from home. It’s definitely the views from inside the restaurant that you are paying high price for. Also I put a special request online and I was sad they didn’t do it, so if you have a special request make sure to talk to them over the phone about it. The kids will love it.

Our food was good but a bit pricey. My kids had pasta and they enjoyed that too. We were able to order from the bar while we waited for our table. In fact we were able to walk all the way to the Alamo and back since our wait was 2 1/2 hrs. I've never waited that long for a table in a restaurant but oh well it was Friday evening and we had never been there before. Server was attentive and kids liked the props and setting.

This place had a nice look and atmosphere. Even though the sales manager was very nice, but the food was an absolute no for me. The food has absolutely no flavor at all! My husband and I both had an appetizer, the queso dip, and the spinach dip, and we had to add a lot of salt & pepper to help it out. Then I had the coconut shrimp and it was more batter than shrimp & very soggy french fries. My husband had the rasta pasta and the Alfredo sauce was tasteless. You would think since it is cheese it would have some cheese flavor but it did not. Then we got the cheesecake for dessert and it did not taste like cheesecake at all. Their food really reminds me of a frozen dinner meal. In my opinion they should revamp their menu & get real chefs in the kitchen. Not to mention DO NOT I say again DO NOT get any of their frozen adult beverages because you will be very disappointed. Their frozen drinks are very bitter. This place is strictly for kids because of the atmosphere. This is not a date night place for adults. I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

We had an amazing experience at this location. Eric Garza was the manager and our server on that floor and he was amazing it was our sons birthday. He was such a great host and would definitely recommend him and their staff. Food was superior to most other Rainforest Cafes we have visited. Eric Garza you are the man…….. That you again for this awesome experience

We visited San Antonio to spend our vacation. During that time we toured around river walk which was absolutely magnificent and beautiful. We decided to eat at this place and waited approximately 47minutes to be called in and take a table. And then it's never ending wait time, asked one of the server if anyone will take care of us, he say he will. Guess what? We waiting another 35 minutes and we got out of this place. While leaving the place I talked to front desk and the lady didn't care about it. So, can't say anything about the food as I never got a chance to be served. Atmosphere is beautiful, place ro visit with family members. Kids will absolutely love this place. Wish they had a better management to take care of customers.

Parents from presentation good. Cleanliness and sanitation not so good. Food well s*** didn't know how to cook medium rare steak. Coleslaw was the worst I've ever had. The rest of the food was pretty good. And it was entertaining for the family.
