There have been a number of people we know who raved about the Saloon and now we know why. This was a top-notch dining experience from start until finish. The evening started with being welcomed by a pleasant valet attendant who greeted me with a warm smile, he was very friendly. Once in the restaurant I was impressed by the beautiful decor and staff who could all double as Instagram models - my wife said that our server may be the prettiest server she’s ever seen. Then came out fantastic food! Each dish was an A++!! We will definitely be back to enjoy another wonderful evening at the Saloon.

This place has delicious food with charming old-school Italian vibes. All of their seafood and steak dishes are phenomenal. Our party got there early on a Thursday night and it was quiet up until about 7pm when the place really filled out. Definitely make a reservation before going.

Came here for very important person in my life’s birthday. It was restaurant that we hadn’t come across after having probably passed it a lot of times while walking by in the area. It’s quite odd we never saw it, because they even have a couple of parking lots along the Avenue. Anyhow, it was a wonderful time. The homemade pesto and bread was wonderful, and we both enjoyed the main dishes. Our server Frankie was very friendly and accommodating. He had a great knowledge of the menu. This is definitely a wonderful place to check out if you’re in the area. I do want to add that I especially look for atmospheres that are comfortable and energetically safe. I felt very cozy and at home here.

My husband and I had an excellent dinner at the Saloon last PM. We started off with “The Sampler”, Poblano Stuffed Peppers, Clams Casino, Clams Pavorotti, and Langostinos. This was a fabulous appetizer! For dinner, my husband had Veal Parm with the best homemade raviolis ever! I had the Lobster Francaise, with Broccoli Rabe, Beans and Sausage. Our cocktails were spot on and OMG, I almost forgot to mention the bread and pesto. The pesto is homemade and hands down the best I’ve ever had aside from my future daughter in law’s This Resturant is a “must visit” when we are in the city. I have to give a shout out to our server Amy. She was so sweet, kind and beautiful. She not only remembered serving us 3 weeks ago when we dined there but she knew exactly what we had including our drinks. Now that’s impressive!! She knows the menu well and when she goes over the specials with you she describes them in such a way that you want to have one of each. Thank you Amy for your excel, ent service and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Kim & Scott G.

Friends from Philly highly recommended this restaurant during our recent visit- We're glad they did!! Old school saloon decor, old fighters on the wall, dark wood, white tablecoth type place- was excellent. I had the veal chop and wife had the seafood special. Drinks were good, ambiance is awesome and the staff was great. Our waitress was very busy and was training a new waiter. I felt her "engagement" with us could have been better (yes I do expect to be fawned over :)). However with todays restaurant staffing issues I am overlooking that for this review. I'd definitely go back and enjoy this excellent restaurant on my next Philly trip.

Nice white table Italian restaurant, the food was amazing, especially the octopus salad. But when it comes to drinks, both were a little disappointing. I’ll only come back for the delicious food! Pricy but worth it!

All of the food is amazing. The octopus salad is worth every penny and the best we have EVER had. The spaghetti with crab meat is my favorite, simple, big portion, and very flavourful. Salmon and all of the seafood is wonderful. They are incredibly kind and very attentive. The managers are extremely professional and very welcoming. Desserts and the drinks are also really delicious. Can't say anything bad about the Saloon. For those who gave a one star review, every restaurant has a bad day, if you're going to complain about the price, go to taco bell or Wendy's, this is a higher end establishment in my eyes and something everyone should experience at least once. If you're gonna come on a holiday or special day I suggest making reservations far ahead of time because they get filled fast. We'll be back as always!!! Thank you for great food!!!!

Staff was amazing but the food was just slightly better if that's possible.
