Saltgrass Steak House

Restaurant was pretty empty thanks to the cold. Everything was pretty clean and staff was quick and friendly. My buddy had the grilled chicken and wound up with an upset stomach later. ??‍♂️ My steak and green beans were very good.

Ambiance- warm, inviting and relaxing Location- north of downtown Food- outstanding wedge salad for starter along with a great house salad with homemade thousand island. The house bread is served warm with real butter. They offer a variety of steaks including the hamburger chop steak which is top notch serve with onions and gravy, the ribeye is absolutely fantastic cooked order. I highly recommend the baked sweet potato as it is baked fresh and not microwaved. Service- The service was top-notch for the entire visit. The wait staff is very attentive and providing refills along with fulfilling any special request do you have for your meal

Kassie was an unbelievably awesome bartender tonight! She was very pleasant even though I came in 20 minutes before closing. She got my order in quick, and my food out fast! There was great teamwork, and all the staff was very friendly! Food was great! Bar atmosphere was wonderful! I would highly recommend this steakhouse to anyone in San Antonio!

Standard Texas steakhouse, the way it should be. Texas Tbone Steak was perfectly cooked, sliced very easy and was tender. It felt like Texas in there. Prices were decent and whiskey selection wasn't bad. I would recommend highly for anyone in town.

Saltgrass is probably my favorite chain steakhouse. They just get the food right each time I’ve come here and the taste never disappoints. I usually order the Pat’s Ribeye 16oz with a fully loaded baked potato and pay the extra charge for a wedge salad. Again, the tastes are on point and I never use A1 with your steak. A good steak should never need to tainted with A1…just gross. Order your steak at most a medium and you can never go wrong. Hope this review helps.

When I am in San Antonio and staying at the hotel next door, this is my favorite place to eat. They always have a seat at the bar top, friendly service, and great food. I went the “healthier” route with the grilled chicken salad but it is one of my favorites.

I ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and it was good. My mother got the brisket burger and she liked it. My daughter had salmon with fried asparagus and liked it too. They serve it with a really good bread.

Ok, I can honestly say this is the BEST steak I have ever had, it "Officially " goes on the menu tomorrow, Monday Feb28th. You NEED this level of flavor in your life I Promise! It's the NY Strip with a lemon butter sauce over 4 grilled or fried shrimp. (You can barely taste the lemon, it's more just a butter sauce, with an elevated flavor. It's perfect!
