MAKE A RESERVATION PEOPLE IT'S COMMON SENSE. Me and my friends didn't but we were determined and waited a hour in a half to be seated and it was worth it 100%. I want to keep coming back for happy hour. It was a great fast paced experience and the food was so yummy.

OBSESSED. Happy hour just doesn’t get happier than at Sampan - a marvelous Asian fusion restaurant. I am in love with their Korean barbecue beef satay, burgers, shrimp rice (all pictured), their color-changing walls, their super friendly vibe, their unbeatable prices, and their remarkable service. Open kitchen so you can see all the magic happen in front of you! All thumbs up!

I have definitely had some bad experiences here, but also good ones. Their happy hour is really very good, the staff comes and goes, but most of the time they’re really great! The sake list is pretty good, with a great selection of variety of rice wines. The food is always stellar. I’ll be back

Haven't been to Sampan since 2016 and it was an even better experience than I remember. I went last night for their Happy Hour. My friend & I sat at the bar because the outside had a 30-40 min wait. Our bartender Samantha was awesome! All of the drinks she made was on point ?? The food was delicious too, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the Kimchee Rice. It's usually my favorite, but it tasted very starchy and like the rice wasn't fully cooked. Other than that, I will still come back because I still had an amazing time ?

Wow! This place is a great spot to checkout if you haven't! The flavors come at you fast and from all ways! I got the Kim che fried rice, tofu tacos and vegetable lol main and a mock tail. You will not be disappointed! If you never listened to any of my reviews please listen to this one and try this place ! It's restaurant week this week but honestly this restaurant week menu was confusing so just order what you see around you or ask The waiter or waitress force and recommendations

Yesterday, my friend and I had reservations at Sampan, but to my surprise this was not a pleasant visit. We had a table, but when we saw the bar area was open we asked the bartender, Natasha if we could sit there instead of waiting for the table. She responded saying we could. As we approached the area, I noticed that she didn’t wipe down the area after the people before us. So, I asked her if she could wipe down but she didn’t hear me, which then I motioned if she could wipe down. For some reason, that set her off she was rudely asked me if I would like her to wipe down. I said yes please, but was trying to ask verbally, but it’s loud in here. From there, she was very rude and when I asked her was there a problem, she condescendingly asked if I wanted my table because I wouldn’t get good service at the bar. Later, her colleagues working the bar with her begin mocking me and taunting me because I stated that if the rudeness continued I would like to speak to a manager. The manager (Valerie) came and resolved the manner in the way she was taught through protocol, but I was not pleased with the resolution. I will not be dining at Sampan anymore after this experience and those reading if you choose to eat there I would stay away from Natasha who wear a silver necklace with an E on it.

Went in for happy hour. It gets packed quickly so go early to get yourself a seat at the bar. Drink options were plenty and all great. Food was awesome too. Our bartender was amazing and very attentive. She made sure to check on us every 5-10 mins. The old fashioned is really good along with the pork bao buns, kimchi fried rice and sliders. Would definitely be back.

Friday night and the place is packed. Excellent service by Christine and food runners. very colorful and flavorful dishes. We got 5 small, 3 main, 2 sides and one “sushi ice cream” dessert. Very down to earth Wine and Sake menus. Dishes are small-medium size and meant to be shared. Sides are relatively big. The best dish of the night was the spicy tuna cracker. In my opinion it’s very fair priced. Highly recommended!! Pictured is the sushi ice cream dessert.
