Scampi is by far the most amazing restaurant in NYC. If I could rate 100/5 stars I would!! First, the service is more than amazing. We went to Scampi two times on our visit to NYC and both servers were superb. They were professional, helpful, informative, attentive and all around amazing. Second, the manager is so sweet & personable!! Third, the food is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Capaletti (the butternut squash pasta). I got it both times and I also got the Chicken entree. Both were amazing and the entrees my boyfriend ordered each time we’re wonderful. Last, the decor in here is so cool! Where we are from, we don’t have any restaurants that are this fun to be in! I loved the entire atmosphere! We will definitely be coming back when we come back to NYC!! This will now be our favorite place and I wish we didn’t live so far away. Highly highly recommend!!!!

Super relaxing ambient which was great for date nights. Came here on a Friday night and it was already super packed! You basically have to shout to your other person across the table but still enjoyed the night. The appetizers were cauliflower and the yellow tail, and the main was shrimp scampi (a must) and the sausage one which was so juicy. We got pretty full and didn’t order dessert but the drinks (Pineapple Express and another mezcal drink) were so good!!

Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. The food, the staff, the drinks. I started off with the sanguigno which was lovely and then i was happy when they were able to make me a limoncello spritz! We got all 3 toasts to split for the table and they were great. I think the fluke one was my favorite, but the tuna was amazing too. The ribeye panino was my absolute FAVORITE. You have to order one! Out of the pasta, the mafaldini was great. The carbonara on the other hand tho was good, but a little dry for my taste. The smashed potatoes were a great side and my friends said they loved their scrambled eggs and little gem salads. Will be coming back for dinner in the near future!

Mafaldini "scampi"definitely one of my favorite pastas ever. Amazing, homemade texture w the best garlic & butter sauce + fresh shrimp. Overall super clean and aesthetic place, EXTREMELY friendly service, and not too loud.

Absolutely loved my dinner experience here thanks to the coolest server ever Massimiliano! The crudos are fresh and filled with flavors and crunchy textures. We tried the Red Snapper & Seabass. You will love them both if you like flavor and a bit of spice. The Langoustine had a crunch with lemony flavors. One of the signature dishes! The Mafaldini is the go-to here, I found it to be a hearty pasta dish with flavored shrimp. And lastly, the desserts that people posted on here are spot on! They weren’t overly sweet so you can actually enjoy more than a few bites. I loved the creamy chocolatey flavors in Budino, and the almondy flavors in Cassata! Our server let us try half of two different wines within 1 glass which was amazing! Overall, I loved the easy going and accommodating staff here! With thousands of restaurants in this city…THIS service will always stand them apart! :) definitely returning back to explore the rest of the menu! Hehe

Saw this place on tiktok and had to try it out. Our waiter was so kind and sassy (the good type of sass) and started us off with some drinks. We ordered the allora and they were nice to make my boyfriend a lemon drop (he loves his sugar rims). Appetizers started off with a red snapper ceviche and brussel sprout salad. Brussel sprout salad was lacking in flavor in comparison to the ceviche, but overall a good palate cleanser. They also give the table some charcuterie breadsticks and a nice kick of sauce to go along. Pastas were amazing and cooked perfectly al dente. Definitely try their signature Scampi pasta as it was so garlicky with the perfect amount of oil. As we were eating, we ordered more drinks so you know they were good. This a place you should arrive with your stomach empty.

We had an incredible date night at Scampi! The drinks were delicious, highly recommend the Quemadito if you like tequila drinks and Tajin. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was delicious. We are big on seafood so we got the appetizers fluke, razor clams, mains langoustine, gémelli Nero (squid ink) pasta, CAPPELLETTI pasta and dessert meringa. If I had to pick a favorite, I loved the squid ink pasta, it was the perfect level of delicious spicy. Then the dessert was awesome - it’s rare to find a good meringue and this one was perfect! The service was very attentive, polite and quick! Thank you for an awesome experience, I can’t wait to come back!
