Really fun French place! Food was really good—highlights were the oysters with tartare and the baked Brie—and the vibe was awesome as well. The restaurant is located in a cool little house that gives the restaurant a fun, cozy vibe. The service was also great! Our server gave great recommendations and was super attentive and nice.

I had dinner last night with a friend here. Everything was delicious. We tried several items on the menu and loved everything that we tried. The Menu is small, but defined and offers a good variety. The restaurant is intimate with an amazing atmosphere. Joel our server was very nice an attentive. I recommend this restaurant for nice dinner with friends or a romantic dinner with a partner

The decor and ambiance at this spot can not be beat. From the friendly staff and chic decor to the adventurous menu and amazing cocktails, Sottise is perfect for girls night, date night and celebrations! I was particularly impressed with the unique and delicious cocktail offerings as well as the small and well thought out menu. You know it’s good when the menu is small and you want everything on it! We booked another reservation while we were sitting at our table, that’s how much we loved it. A real eclectic Downtown PHX experience ❤️❤️

This place is worth the hype. I was so excited for this place, it's very cute and we were seated immediately (had a reservation). We then went on a French culinary tour that kept getting better. Started with steak tartare oysters which is the best thing on the menu! Next was truffle chips with creme fraiche and salmon roe which was something I've never had before but now crave. Then escargot, steamed mussels and lobster thermidor. The latter was the best of the three! Drinks were amazing, service started out strong but started to falter a bit as it got busier and rowdier, didn't ruin the night though! Highly suggest coming and getting to experience it!

We are big fans of Restaurant Progress and Sottise offers another option for unique, locally sourced food and cocktails. The building gives the vibes of a dinner party with friend with porch (heaters available) or indoor seating options. Every course we had was unique. We particularly liked the beet salad and oysters (although if you bring a date be prepared to fight over who gets the third oyster). Cocktails and wine selection were also very good and paired well with dinner.

What a treat while visiting Phoenix, inventive seafood heavy tapas style menu meant to share. The trout roe is pretty spendy but totally worth it, flown in fresh from Maine every other day. Three apps, a demi baguette and the Lobster Thermidor plus a dessert was plenty for 2 people, will definitely go back to try the rest. Solid wine list.

This is a wonderful dining experience! We dined on the porch of this historic home on a beautiful Sunday evening. Our food: Baked Brie ?, Roasted Beets ?, Steamed Mussels ?, Lobster Thermidor ?. The kitchen was VERY busy, but they sent the lobster dish out before it was finished. Most expensive entree... not fully prepared. I won't make that mistake again. But we will definitely go back... I really want more of those delicious beets! Had a Garden Gnome cocktail that was delish. Parking in front of the restaurant is not free, it's metered. Make sure you put enough $ in the meter if you're depositing coin! Tow trucks circle the block looking for expired meters.

Very cute French restaurant. Everything tasted great. The sauce with the beets was a highlight but the portions were small, even for the main dishes. I just hope the restaurant could change the rules around bringing outside food. It was a bit awkward bringing a birthday cake and being told it's not really allowed... it's a first for me. The staff were kind to allow it but the rule is a bit of a bummer.
