Food was AMAZING! We had the grilled octopus for appetizer, and it was very well done! The wagyu alla vodka beef pizza was so delicious that I thought I could finished the whole thing myself. Our server, Justin, was very friendly, energetic, and attentive. Service from all the staff was superb! This was the first time we dined there, and it was definitely one of my best dining experiences. I'm sure we'll frequent the place in the future. Highly recommend!

Beautiful gem hidden in dtla. The ambiance is very soothing and comfortable. Excellent service and amazing recommendations. Thank you Jeff for helping us out today! You were amazing at being patient and helpful. ?? There is a selection of sea food and meats, and veggies. Don’t come too hungry because the portions are small. The quality is great tho. Great selections of different drinks; mixed drinks, beers, and wines. The spicy pizza was my favorite, but everything was so delicious.

Southern Italian cuisine on the ground floor of the Hotel Figueroa in DTLA. Overall it was a really nice meal and I was on the fence between four and five stars so the easiest way to sum up why I chose four would be through the pros and cons. PRO: Our server and the all the staff that dealt with our table, or check in, were very polite. Aside from an issue with the refills everything came out quickly and we were checked on many times. I like design on the inside, it’s really open with tall ceilings, cool artwork on the way into the dining area, and comfortable seating. I started off with the Beets & Burrata Salad and really liked the flavors. The beets were fresh and the oranges added a great acidic component and the vinaigrette sauce was especially a nice touch and my favorite part. For my entree I chose the Bone Marrow Agnolotti because marrow is one of my favorite things to eat and it too was very rich and flavorful. Finally for dessert we went with the Bread Pudding and it was a great finish complete with a big scoop of vanilla gelato. CON: Our server was great and very polite but forgot to inquire for drink refills and when we did order some they didn’t come before the check did, which is not a big deal and think it was more of an overbooking issue because our server was assigned to many tables at the same time as ours. Finally what really takes away a star for me are the portion sizes. My Agnolotti was 12 pieces on a small flat plate (I also think they should serve it in a bowl instead). For an entree 12 bites really leaves you wanting more and went too quickly. Same issue with the Beet Salad: it was great in taste but very small. My Mom is Calabrese and so I know Italian portions are very generous so I feel it feel short in that department. Overall I would recommend but beware of the portion sizes and suggest going on a week night or an early dinner to avoid any issues.

Always enjoy coming here but unfortunately I was looking forward to the seafood salad and it was not available. Staff should know ahead of time. Also, it wasn't quite busy when we arrived but the food still took a long time to reach us. They comped the toast to make up for it. Nice.

Had an absolute delicious and amazing time at Sparrow this past Saturday night! It was mine and my best friends first time at this restaurant (we were there celebrating her birthday) and we were not disappointed at all. I had the bolognese and oh my god, I wish I could have this for dinner everyday. The cocktails were delicious and so entertaining! Dessert is an absolute must and you will not be disappointed with the cannoli and zeppole. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO OUR AMAZING SERVER, JUSTIN ✨ He was absolutely amazing. Super attentive and kind. He had amazing recommendations and made sure we were set for the night. Everything was perfect and I cannot wait to dine here again!

We checked in 15 minutes ahead of our 7pm reservation and didn't get seated until 7:30. Many other parties weren't seated for over an hour after their reservation! We didn't even get a "thank you for your patience". Our waiter seemed like a nice guy, but wasn't familiar with the cocktails and wasn't able to make a good recommendation on food. Food was okay. Ambiance was cool. Our appetizer never came.

The location and atmosphere is great. The service is good. Prices are a bit expensive, maybe can be a bit lower. The food quality is acceptable, but very salty. The menu items are very limited.

Excellent downtown restaurant that’s right near LA live. Delicious food and excellent drinks. I highly recommend the risotto balls appetizer, tuna appetizer, Frito appetizer, truffle pizza and the Branzino fish. I wish I remembered the name but the servers will know what you’re talking about. All the setup is really nice with a pool right next to it. Excellent bar area with amazing bartenders! Try there “Genevese” adult cocktail.
