Spasso Italian Grill

Restaurant is nice and clean outside dining as well. The bread wasn't fresh. It was cold and the butter was frozen. However, everything else was very good. I wish they had some options of lemonade however, I just went with a pineapple juice water. The appetizer was delicious. The entree was 6 out of 10. The dessert was probably a 6.5/10. All in all 7.9 out of 10 definitely recommend to try this spot out !

Took advantage to the Tuesday and Wednesday dinner special. $45 per person for a 3 course meal and you get a complimentary bottle of their house wine. I enjoyed myself the customer service was great and the food portions were huge. I definitely recommend this place!

Good environment, the entree was good and the price not bad. I ordered a glass of chardonnay, the alcohol content was a little weak. We were looking forward to a good Arancini, however, they didn't have meat in them and thus, we were a but disappointed. Otherwise, this restaurant was a good look for a Saturday evening.

Courteous service. Excellent selection of delicious Italian cuisine from start to finish. Affordable prices. Great wines and fabulous location on the Front Street bank of the Delaware River.

Location, location, location. We stopped by here on Saturday evening, hoping to catch the fireworks from the Delaware Riverfront park close by. The service was great and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. Also, really enjoyed the outside seating and friendly waitstaff. We got to see our fireworks as well. What a sight.

I've been wanting to come to Spasso for so long. Finally made it the last day of restaurant week. I must say I had higher expectations but I did enjoy myself. I order the mussels and mozzarella stick..mussels were good once I squeezed lemon on them. The mozzarella stick appetizer could have been a little warmer coming out. I love for my cheese to actually STRETCH! My cousin had the Meatballs and an Eggplant for appetizers and stated that she enjoyed it!! I then ordered the chicken parmesan..which was plated well but lacked flavor. Needed garlic/Italian seasoning etc maybe. Overall experience was great. The waiter was pleasant. The hostess needs a little work on being happy and more inviting. But I will be sure to stop back in when in the area. Oh and dessert was amazing. Creme Brulee and Chocolate Mousse Cake was a WIN!!

I came here for restaurant week last night with some friends and this is by far the best Italian restaurant in Philadelphia I’ve been to. The food was incredible and our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the eggplant rollatini, gnocchi bolognese and chocolate cake, everything was delicious. It’s a great location too if your around the Penn’s landing area. I will definitely be returning here and would recommend to anyone interested.

This was my first time dining at Spasso’s and it did not disappoint. It was on my list of places to visit, and I just so happened to park right out of front, while heading over to Franklin Fountain. I ordered some kind of braised short rib pasta, and it was amazing. Pasta wasn’t overcooked, sauce was great, and meat was tender. My partner & I loved it.
