The place offers food up until midnight and we wanted something to eat kinda late, there's vegan and vegetarian dishes (the menu is not that extensive at night) and the food was on point, so good! The spinach and artichoke dip was something new my husband tried and was reluctant to, but he ended absolutely loving it! The burger was amazing, and the dessert was spectacular. I would definitely come again!

This place surprised us. We really enjoyed our meal here. They have a decent amount of beer on tap, plenty of appetizers, and the prices are decent. There is even a great rewards program for frequent customers. The wait staff was friendly too. We have been here several times and have been pleased each time. If you are looking for classic American tavern/pub food, this is a great place to try. We would highly recommend Sweetwater!

I went in for drinks and an appetizer. Our waitress was awesome! Nice and friendly, as well as the rest of the employees. The bathrooms were clean, but a little tight on exiting them when there's a person washing there hands right next to the door. I had a spicy margarita. It was not spicy to me, but I eat very spicy food on a regular basis. So, to the average person's spice level, it's probably spicy. Aside from the spice, the taste of the margarita itself was great. For an appetizer, I had the Buffalo bites. They were so delicious: crunchy, creamy, and juicy all at the same time!

I visit Chicago several times a year and this is the one place that I go out of my way to visit every time I'm in town. The food is great and the service is always top notch. This visit Myron B was our server was incredibly polite, engaging and offered suggestions from the appetizer menu and was very attentive during a late afternoon early evening rush. If you have not visited Sweetwater make an effort to get there. While I am not a beer drinker they have a large selection of beers and it's also a great atmosphere for meeting up with friends or just catching a game

I walked by here many times for several years and never went in because I assumed it was mediocre. It's actually a great place. Plenty of outdoor seating for the warmer months and the food isn't fancy but it's tasty. The drinks are also good though of course have downtown prices. Service is professional and the manager is easy to talk to. Now I go often. If you want American food and a relaxing experience go here. Not a stuffy or uptight downtown restaurant.

This is a frequent lunch stop for my coworkers and I and I have enjoyed it every time I have dined in. Service is quick and staff is professional. I had the Spicy Chicken Wrap with a side of tater tots and I was impressed with the large portions (so many tater tots, yum!). The wrap had a little too much lettuce and not enough chicken for my taste, but otherwise everything was great!

We came here after the Christmas Tree Lighting and it was packed! Surprisingly we were seated pretty quickly and service was nice and welcoming. I got the Golden Honey Margarita to start and it was nice and strong with a hint of sweetness. My partner got the Cranberry Mojito and it was so delicious. To eat I got the Sunny Side Up burger, it was very juicy and cooked perfectly. My partner went with the Southwest Chicken Wrap and she too thought it was delicious. We both loved the fries they were perfectly salted and had a nice crisp and fluff to it. A solid place to grab a bite, prices are fair for a downtown restaurant.
