Had a great experience before the dinner rush. The rolls were warm, soft, and tasted fantastic to start. The 10 oz New York Strip was tender, juicy, and great taste and texture. Mac and cheese was a delicious complement as a side. Top 5 steaks I’ve had for sure. The tenderloin salad was good. So good that the salad wasn’t needed and should have got the steak instead. Waitress and service were excellent as well. Will definitely make another trip back.

Went here for date night with the spouse and brought the little along. I was a little worried about bringing my rowdy 1 year old, but everyone was super sweet with her. On top of that, they actually cooked my steak how I like it. I ordered a rare steak and actually got a rare steak! Which is quite *rare* to find these days. The only note I have is that the homemade ranch for the salads was missing a little acid. So I would order a different salad dressing next time. Also, I recommend reserving your table! I'm not positive if it's required, but it wasn't difficult to do and saved me any waiting time.

The cleanliness of this place is amazing. I even saw a server changing gloves to avoid cross contamination, which I never see in other places. Service was also wonderful! The food was good. I did have to add some salt to my food, but I think it's better to have less than have too much. This would be a plus to some people watching their salt intake. Food was a tad on the pricey side, but I don't mind if the employees are paid fairly. Cheesecake with strawberries was great!

Flavor: B Service: B Tea: A Solo dining: A I've driven by this place many times and finally decided to try it. Beware... it's popular. There's even a wait if you think you're beating the crowd by going at 5:00. The ceasar salad was excellent. A lot of steakhouse-type restaurants serve lame salads but not here. I got the chicken-fried ribeye and liked it. A tender great cut of meat that was flavorful and perfectly battered. The gravy wasn't my favorite (it's cream gravy but not white sawmill gravy I was expecting) but it was still good. The homemade yeast rolls (or if they're not homemade I was fooled) are delicious. The lackluster part of my meal was the twice-baked potato. It's about $4 extra and not worth a nickel. Mine looked like it was accidentally baked four or five times. And the filling was nothing special - not creamy, not flavored, just covered in a boatload of cheese with some imitation-tasting bacon bits. I waited on a refill for quite a while and didn't see my server often but I understand that these are tough times. I had a good enough experience to go back but am hoping it's better next time!

Waitress was great. However, the place came highly recommended, but it missed. Food didn't have much taste. The chicken fried ribeye was mostly breading. It gets two stars because the grilled shrimp was amazing, the rest missed the mark.

Great steak and beer, good service, cozy place. It’s awesome to see the staff cooking your steak on the grill right in front of you.

My son's 16th birthday in a new state. The service was absolutely great, the quality of food was wonderful. The low cost compared to how good the food, service makes the experience almost too good to be true.
