Everything was great. I was worried that the hotel could be outdated possibly like The Plaza. I was very happy to find that wasnt true. We got to check in early, our room was upgraded, the hotel looks very nice. We had a great time at the bar. The drinks, bar snacks, entertainment and overall vibe was great. Breakfast in the morning was also very good and the restaurant was pretty. Staff was very kind and helpful. We had a great experience in the Spa as well. Only thing I would recommend is to throw some dryer sheets when drying the towels maybe. They had a little bit of a stale smell. Also the hand lotion with no scent smelt a little stale. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience for our 15 year anniversary!

This was our second visit, which was celebrating a Birthday. Our first in October, was a magical experience (for our Silver Anniversary). The consistent quality that has drawn us to your property is the attentiveness of the staff & services provided. Both of our stays were seamlessly coordinated with Danielle, who really went beyond when our florist confused the date of our order & was not able to make a delivery. A beautiful arrangement was on our desk after she became aware of the situation. David helped with dinner plans and Luis & Emilio were familiar faces to greet us. Adolfo also was quick to assist with our elevator journeys. Patricia & Dela were both helpful when attending to our needs in the room. Even though Cafe Carlyle was dark, we felt like we were where we wanted to be. We are thinking that 3307 will become our Pied a Terre. We will definitely be back for our next celebration. Thank you to everyone.

My husband and myself stayed here mid Dec , 2022 , we were celebrating our recent Silver wedding Anniversary. We had a gorgeous room , with a lovely view, we could see Central Park in the Distance. We booked for five nights and our stay was perfect . The Bemelmans Bar was simply perfection and seeing Earl Rose play was the icing on the cake. The Jackie O , cocktails didn’t disappoint! We had breakfast every morning in Dowlings also we had dinner there too and this was a fabulous meal with a surprise Anniversary cake and candle . One night we were going back to our room and heard someone playing the piano in their room , we stopped and listened, it sounded beautiful and made us smile . We have stayed in beautiful Hotels in New Your over many years, this was our first time at the Carlyle. We will most definitely go back it was magical, fabulous atmosphere and one to remember. The staff are absolutely superb, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for our amazing memorable stay . We will most definitely be back .

I have just one word “perfection”! A stunning hotel where I felt truly at home for an extended stay in NYC. The staff go above and beyond with service and every little need is not only met but anticipated. I can honestly say that this is the most incredibly run and managed hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. Can’t wait to come back!

I usually stay at the Pierre but decided to stay here last week after returning from Europe. I stayed here with my wife and son. The staff was very warm , and polite. Coming from bad experiences in Europe with five star hotels. It was great returning home to good true five star service.

first stay. we were contemplating staying elsewhere to accrue points. I really wanted to stay at the Carlyle and so happy we did! Wish we could've stayed longer. Loved Bemelman's Bar and visited 2x during our stay. Only negative is the fee to sit at a bar or table despite being a guest of the hotel.

Chose The Carlyle to celebrate my birthday with my daughter and so happy I did! From a beautiful suite upgrade to a sumptuous dinner at Dowling’s to fabulous spa services…The Carlyle proved the perfect choice for a getaway to celebrate and catch up with my daughter! We both so enjoyed all of the offerings of this iconic hotel! Look forward to a return visit!

Had Christmas high tea. Had huge issue upon arrival after we were told to come at 3 & reservations NOT necessary. After haggling with staff because reservations are a must particularly this time of year, manager found us a table. Our waiter was delightful & made the experience worth the misinformation about reservations. Champagne was wonderful, sandwiches & scone were excellent. Desserts were mediocre & not made in house. If they upgrade the desserts my friends & I will certainly return.
