We went there on a whim when were looking for a romantic place to have a nice meal. We found parking to be in a sketchy little lot with a guard watching something on his little TV, but at least he was there watching over the cars. Walking down into the restaurant was a challenge as the stairs are steep and the handrail is not super useful, but it is manageable if you take your time when you can't move quickly. However, once you go in, you are transported back to a different era where the seats are almost spread like a speakeasy and the wait staff is mostly on point. The waitstaff was really quite good to be honest. However,.... We got the crispy artichokes as an appetizer. They were not crispy, nor were they tasty. It was like they had been pickled, then frozen, then microwaved. They were inedible. As main course, we got sirloin and prime rib. The sirloin was tough as if it had been frozen, then thawed quickly, and grilled. The prime rib was fairly well done, if not seasoned. The mixed vegetables were clearly only broccoli and had been frozen as well. We decided to try a warm apple tart as dessert. That was soft, tasteless, and cold. We had several mixed drinks as well. If you can get through the over pour or the under pour, and the fact that the mixed drinks are $15 a piece, they aren't bad. I do recommend the chocolate martini. By the time we left, the place was hopping and very busy. The staff told us that reservations are always recommended after 5 on Friday and Saturday, but I don't see why. All in all, the food was gross but the service was good.

One of the classiest establishments that Los Feliz had to offer. The live jazz in the lounge is extraordinary and the cocktails are perfect. I treated myself to dinner alone one night and it didn’t not disappoint. The salmon was delicious and so was the wine. The ambiance is very fancy and you’ll just feel the old Hollywood glamour seep into every aspect of the experience! 10/10 recommend!

Very cool spot with tons of character and a friendly staff/crowd. The drinks might be a little weak, but the food is good and the entertainment is top-notch. Really enjoyed my visit!

The vibe and live music do the magic. Cocktails are nice and not pricy. Food is good too for a bar.

The $50 steak I got was barely edible. I ordered medium and it was practically raw. And mushy, bland. If it hadn’t been my buddies bachelor party I’d have sent it back but I didn’t want to make an issue so I basically wasted it. Sad.

my goodness the mid-week music is just...the musicianship of everyone they bring in. Addy Daddy and group blew out minds with funk and jazz galore. the drinks are top notch and despite how insanely packed the specialists knocked it out o the park

Absolutely love this place! I was there last night for the first time. Definitely a good spot to sit at the bar and have some drinks. They also have food which I didn't try. They have a dinning area in the back. Also live music on Wednesday nights! Parking in the rear. The bartenders are polite and quick.
