The Palm provided the most special anniversary yet. My brother is the Deacon of his church and recited a beautiful traditional Irish blessing and prayer over our union to mark our coming wedding from the bar at The Palm (San Antonio). It was the first place Joe and I met, and we sat at the very same window side table for dinner. Everything about last it was magic. And the food is rich, delicious and drinks are made well. Clean facilities and the staff treats us like family. It’s one of “our” spots for life.

I visited for Christmas due to cancelled flights to Los Angeles and was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. I didn’t have a reservation yet they allowed me to sit at the bar and enjoy my Christmas meal. So grateful for Guillermo and for Adriane who showed me nothing but kindness and care on this beautiful Christmas day. I had the fillet which was cooked perfectly and the au gratin potatoes and red wine. This is a must stop for San Antonio Texas. I will definitely visit again. I suggest making a reservation if it’s a holiday, however they seem to be very accommodating. A big thank you to The Palm for making my Christmas night. It is one I will never forget!!!

My food was great, but my husband's was undercooked twice. The restaurant's story is unique, and the manager was glad to share it along with stories behind some of the caricatures on the walls. This is a high-end restaurant that doesn't feel pretentious. Didn't have valet.

Tried the Octopus was very tasty but lacked the wow factor. Wife ordered lobster bisque was cold and the flavor was disappointing. I ordered the lobster ravioli and she ordered the Salmon. We enjoyed the wine and my old fashioned cocktails until our food arrived. First off my plate did not look like the plating photo and my pasta was a bit hard but extremely salty. I let my wife taste it too be sure it wasn't just me,and she confirmed it. I never send my food back anywhere but tonight I just couldn't do it so I returned it. They tried to offer me something else but I just cannot order something else if I return my food. My wife enjoyed her salmon and I ordered calamari appetizer after a while. Was also disappointed they don't offer the creme brulee.Brule. I did ask if there was a change in recipes and she stated that there wasn't but you can taste the difference.

Wow! The Palm was fantastic. We walked in without a reservation, in the middle of the afternoon. We were quickly greeted and decided to sit at the bar top. Amy was the bartender who waited on us and she was excellent. She was friendly and attentive. Even though she was the only server there, she still made sure we were well taken care of. We had just come over from the courthouse, from getting married and she made us feel so special. The food was also excellent. The Tomahawk Ribeye was absolutely delicious as were the sides, French Fries and Wild Mushrooms. Thanks for making our wedding dinner so memorable. We can't wait to go back.

Wow, what a fun experience! First of all, it's a beautiful restaurant. The charicatures on the walls gave this classy, upscale restaurant a very warm and inviting feel. The staff was absolutely wonderful and entertaining to say the least ?. The music was marvelous, as they played a selection of classic standards by Frank Sinatra and others of that genre. One honest critique from me would be that the food was not as flavorful as we'd hoped, but the staff and wine selection certainly made up for it. I will be back for sure.

Bruh. This place was so fantastic. It was my birthday so they took extra care of me but I know they would be just as great if that wasn't the occasion. The food is phenomenal. Very large portions so don't feel bad too spilt stuff. Great drinks, service, and cool history. They have an inside and outside area, full bar, and it's a little pricey but DAMN good. They were so damn nice to me if my birthday. ? We'll definitely be back!!

Atmosphere was unique, food and service was good. I had the filet, and it was well seasoned and cooked with a nice crust. (Medium rare was closer to the rare side than medium, which was nice.)
