Loved every experience here! Room was perfect. Bedding was very comfortable. There is no ice machine on the floor, but we were told just to dial "0" and ask for it. We did several times, and a large sack of ice was delivered immediately. We loved the large bathroom and the ingenious light switches that actually have labels on them: a simple but efficient stroke. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Valet service does take a bit of time to get your car, but they were hustling as fast as they could. We will definitely make this our San Antonio hotel home!

My sister had her wedding here and it was stunning! The hotel was very accommodating and helpful. This historic spot is quite the place to stay. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. The light switches are odd and not easy to use. The only thing is that on the first night one of our party checked her car into the valet and he laptop was stolen from her car. Apparently over 40 cars were left unlocked that night. Very unfortunate but once again the hotel was very helpful and apologetic. Overall we had a good stay

Everything was amazing! We were here celebrating my boyfriend’s 40th and didn’t share that with the hotel, but it felt like they knew and treated us very well from the moment we entered. Carmine helped us with us with our luggage and was so careful with our belongings and attentive to detail, even hanging up our sweaters in the room. Then at midnight, when we were leaving the live music on the roof, his son was craving ice cream and we knew everything was completely closed and there was just no way he was going to get ice cream. We ran into Mark in the hallway, who heard our conversation, and completely surprised us in our room with chocolate ice cream shortly after. This trip was absolute perfection. Thank you so much Mark for being the cherry on top! Each Front Desk team member were very friendly and hospitable as well. To summarize, this hotel did not disappoint. Thank you all very much for an amazing trip and making the stay very memorable.

Our stay at The St. Anthony was great! The hotel room was clean and we loved the fact that we were able to book a room that also had a living room. Our daughter was able to sleep in a roll away bed and she had plenty of space. The food was great both for breakfast in their restaurant, and at the pool. We had fun at the pool after a full day at Sea World. Overall we loved staying here and would recommend if you are visiting San Antonio.

The rooftop is absolutely amazing! I don’t know where to start or end with this place. Valet parking. Customer service is superb. Guest services is top notch. It’s located right near everything. The Alamo is in walking distance. The room had everything, plush robes, walk in sauna type shower, water closet with privacy glass, the bed is super comfortable, room service and an indoor pool!!!!! 11/10 for sure

Overall the experience was OK. When you left the hotel from one of the exits to a main street, the entrance had not been cleaned. The area around the doorway smelled like urine, and we literally had to step over urine about three feet away from the door. And it was never cleaned while we were there. We were only there for a night, but used that entrance multiple times during our stay. The hotel lobby area was worn. The furniture is upholstered in velvet, and it was worn and there were large areas of the seating where there was no longer any velvet. This isn’t a place I would host anything because I’d be embarrassed to take anyone there if I were the host. The service, however, was good. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious.

My wife and I stayed over a long holiday weekend. We usually enjoy the old, historic hotels that provide a great rate and service through Fine Hotels and Resorts with Amex. However, this stay was average, at best. The initial interactions at check in were more akin to staying at a Holiday Inn: short, mildly rude, and left a bad taste. She didn’t seem to like our early arrival, despite having the early check in (and then forgot to make sure our room and room keys were programmed for the late 4 pm check out, locking us out and necessitating a long wait at the front desk to regain entry). Maid service since the pandemic has been limited, I understand, but the first day they forgot to come at all, and we only had limited towels and one robe for two people. The breakfast restaurant was, again, average, though service there was superior. We didn’t get to try the restaurant or bar as there were many events in the hotel. Overall, this was the most disappointing experience with a Luxury Collection hotel we’ve had in our travels. The central location was its best characteristic, and other hotels in the area at a lower price point would likely serve you just as well.

I wanted to provide a review for the bell men Henry and Dean. They were absolutely fantastic. They were patient getting us from our room all the way to our car and we had some additional luggage and hard to handle items since we had our 3 kids with us and they made it a breeze. Great hotel and even better staff! Thank you for another great stay!
