A simple (and updated every 3 weeks) menu of the “classics.” Service was attentive, but not “too much”. Try the Short Rib meatballs as an appetizer. The main courses were delicious, served with enough time to enjoy some conversation, and a cocktail! The desserts, were over the top, portions a bit larger then expected….but fabulous! Family friendly. Just wish we had some “bread” to munch on ahead of the meal, but glad we didn’t….wasted calories! Give it a go!!

The service and food here is impeccable. Top notch employees all working together to make your dining experience the best. The food presentations were one of the best and the taste was excellent. I recommend this location to everyone who's looking to impress their date or loved one. Hats off to our waiter, Michael, and his associates. We'll be back!

This is a fantastic restaurant and super close to Times Square, Central Park and Carnegie Hall. The decor of this restaurant is beautiful and inviting. Our server was so awesome. He explained the menu on detail and also got us some antipasto to try. All the Antipasto choices tasted delicious, but I liked the Zucchini Parmesan the most. They also custom made a vegetarian Pasta for us. Definitely recommended restaurant when in NYC. We will surely be back for more.

Delicious! Stopped in without reservations for a Sunday late lunch around 3pm. Split a margarita pizza but really could have eaten one each! The crust was the thinnest I have ever had, perfect not soggy topped with fresh basil and Barata cheese. We each had a dessert, the limoncello pie and the vanilla meringue cake. Don’t pass this place up!

Had an amazing experience, amazing service, amazing food. They made you feel like you were at family/good friends house. It was our first meal in NYC! We started with amazing pepperoni Pizza. My niece and I had the chicken parm-we shoulda split-it was huge. My daughter loved her seafood pasta-handmade noodle. My son had lasagna-so delicious.

It's a very nice Italian Restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere, the food and service was good. I had the Chicken Parmesan topped with pepperoni; it was a huge portion. I liked the desserts a lot! Nice place to have dinner. Mangia!!

Just marvelous! The food at Trattoria Dell’Arte is Italian done right. The portions are ginormous. Everything is tasty and crispy. I had the chicken Marsala and it was perfect, I ate every bite. The decorations around the restaurant are pictures of body parts which is also really fun and interesting. 10/10!

Went here for breakfast crazy enough, I only have so much time on vacation and when I'm in New York I try to squeeze in every food experience I can. This restaurant came highly reccomended and I can see why. The food certainly is unique and well prepared. Our meal was delicious, and I thought that the chicken parmesean pepperoni pizza was very innovative and fun. It was a nearly perfect experience. Normally I give out a four star rating for when a restaurant experience is good but not too inspiring. Typically this happens because the food is good but it's just not all that interesting. This really isn't true of Trattoria. The food was excellent and the food is unique. The only reason I cannot give a full five star rating feels petty and I'm deeply torn on it is because at no point was I informed that the garlic bread was an appetizer that I would be charged for. When our server took the menus from us, I was asked casually "And would you like to start with garlic bread?" I agreed, as about 70% of the Italian restaurants I have ever been to offer free bread in some form. Would I have ordered bread had I known it was a charge? Quite possibly. But opening the bill to see $9 I had no expectations of seeing just felt a bit crummy (pun intended). I don't know what the cultural expectation is on letting customers at fancy restaurants know they are agreeing to an expense, but I would have appreciated even a minor indication. "Would you like to start with the garlic bread appetizer?" Don't let that stop you from coming here, but do know that the bread isn't free.
