Went for lunch with my 2 coworkers this afternoon, and wow what an amazing experience! We all got the beef pho which came with a delicious healthy portion of brisket and comforting house-made broth, and served with fresh herbs, lime wedges, and sprouts! We also ordered these delicious honey citrus bourbon drinks from the bar called The Gold Rush, and the Syracuse Cabernet for my other colleague. The service was 12/10, wonderful, and genuinely friendly, with the server/bartender, Nick, taking great care of us, and the Chef, Mr. Daniels, taking time to visit with our table and inquire on how everything was for us. The food was truly phenomenal, ambiance cozy with great classic soulful music playing, and all around awesome experience!! ?????

Definitely the best ribs in town! If you are looking for a restaurant with finger licking good ribs, look no further! The meat falls right off the bones! 5 star food forsure. Make sure you check out Tucker’s Kozy Korner! The plate you see in the images is ribs, beans, green beans and cornbread.

Great service and great food ! Wasn’t expecting much since it was a last min option near me, and I wasn’t aware it was a bar setting . Glad we stumbled upon it! The dumplings were fresh , soft and the stuffing was juicy . Burger meat flavor was on point and the brioche bun ?? but the bbq was one of the best I’ve had in Texas

Tucker’s is your good ole neighborhood bar, albeit an almost iconic neighborhood bar. The food is good, the service is great, the ambiance is cool and the beer is COLD. The food prices are a little on the high side (but in this day and age the prices are high on everything, everywhere). Will definitely be back. Food – 4/5 Price – 4/5 Service – 5/5 Ambiance – 4/5

Cool little spot that looked like you could really have a great time. Had the catfish and it was some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. Mac&cheese was super creamy and okra was made just right. Live music was going when we showed up. Two bars one inside and one out. The bartender served us. She was very nice and cute.

2 stars for the seats being comfortable. But the food and worker (I guess buss boy/waiter) sucked. Our green beans were horrible. Like could break a tooth bad… when the buss boy comes around and asks how we’re doing, we tell him it’s okay except the green beans, and he says “yeah I don’t like them either. but you can’t win them all”… and got extremely defensive over it. He ruined the whole experience. It was not worth the $13 per plate that we spent.

I went for happy hour with some friends. The food was pretty good for a dive bar. I would call it elevated bar food. The service on the other hand, wasn’t the best. It was pretty dark and quiet when we walked in. It’s a lounge, so of course the lighting is going to be dim. They have some cool wall decor and an old jukebox in the corner. It seems like one of those places where a lot of regulars go, and if you’re not a regular, you’re not really welcome. I got two margaritas while I was there. The first one was delicious! I was really impressed. However the second one clearly had no liquor in it. It tasted like sweet and sour over ice. I asked the bar tender if I could get an extra shot for my margarita because it didn’t taste like the first one and she said she’d have to charge me for it… I didn’t argue with her, but when she poured my shot she only had enough tequila in her bottle to pour half a shot. It gave me the impression that she was under pouring drinks to save tequila. I told her that half a shot was fine with me because I wasn’t worried about the alcohol content. I just didn’t want to be drinking what tasted like a cup of sweet and sour ? She didn’t end up charging me, which was great. I definitely won’t be going back, but if you’re looking for a local dive bar/lounge to hang out at or have some drinks before going out, I would recommend this place.

Awesome first experience here about a year ago, but pretty lackluster experience last week. First time we were here we had two male bartenders that were so excited and inspired by the cocktails they made and the food they had to offer on the menu. We were excited to return but maybe picked an off night. Had a female bartender this time that seemed to just "tend bar", and the door to the back kitchen was kept open, flooding a huge amount of unappealing florescent light into the bar and into anyone's face sitting at the end. We actually came with appetites and arrived shortly after 8pm, however when we tried to order food, we were told the kitchen was closed (not the door though anyway). We asked what time they stopped serving food so we'd know better next time, and they said usually 9 but not that night. Awhile later, two patrons at the end of the bar who either worked there on other nights or knew the staff well, received food from the back that looked and smelled delicious. A little disappointing for us to say the least. Jury is still out but hoping if we give this place another try that it's more like our first experience and nothing like our second.
