Vegan Avenue On Main

San Antonio's Best Vegan Restaurant - as my daughter put it to me ?. Excellent vegan restaurant so far we came across in San Antonio. Lots of choices with plenty of varieties. The dishes are prepared as you order so it might take a while to get them to your table. The patience is definitely worth the wait. You might consider order a drink while waiting for the main dish.

One of the best Vegan restaurants I have ever been to! Had their “ tacos Al pastor” and they tasted just like their meat equivalents! Their brownies and vegan chocolate cake were also to die for! 10/10! Will definitely be coming back.

The food was super fresh and flavorful. We ordered the Tacos al Pastor and the Sweet Potato Flautas. Both were delicious and super filling! The portions are big so you may be able to share a main plate. The Mexican hot chocolate was also good. We were glad that there was outdoor seating, a big plus in time of pandemic. The staff was friendly and the place had a lovely ambiance.

We loved Vegan Avenue on Main. One of the better vegan restaurants we’ve been to in awhile. We were visiting San Antonio and we came back two days in a row! The house made chicken was incredible. We also loved the Caesar salad, Buffalo sandwich and sweet potato hash. Great service too!

Took my oldest son here after he graduated Air Force boot camp. The whole family enjoyed the meals and the atmosphere. If you are in the area and looking for a plant base option look no further! All the food tasted great. Highly recommend you visit them ??

Seating was readily available when we arrived, about 5:45. Cheesy Mushroom Burger has great flavor with a little kick of spice. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was as expected as far as flavor and heat, I really enjoyed it. Another order in our party was the Carne Asada tacos and they were were scrumptious. Sweet potato (hash) bowl was good, however it lacked the main ingredient: sweet potato. There a few pieces of sweet potato. Considering it was the main ingredient I felt it was reasonable to expect enough that I didn’t have to look for it. Service was nice.

Perfection! They did not miss a single mark. As a vegan, I’ve never had so many choices before. We got the veggie fajita bowl, buffalo chick’n burger and I heart ceviche. 10/10 on taste, flavor and portion size. The hibiscus gimlet was the cherry on top of a perfect meal!

What a great place for Sunday brunch. Cool vibe, great food, and excellent service. Our server "G" was awesome and amazing. She went above and beyond and even gave us some great tips on what to do in the area. Definitely a great place to grab some Texas vegan food!
