The food and service here is incredible. The whipped ricotta is easily one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had, and the Spanish steak and eggs were amazing also. The uovo pizza was delicious as well. Overall 10/10 and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here for my graduation dinner and Barbuzzo didn’t disappoint. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and I was glad I decided to come here. Our waiter was nice and we generally had a good time. I would advise you order some starters because the meal portions are more on the smaller side. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back!

*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* Barbuzzo is one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. I love the ambiance and the decor of the place. They have this cute little bookshelf corner table that is quite cozy. The food is amazing as well. I have been here a few times and every time, it's always been great. Their menu is decently sized with lots of options at a very good value for the amount that you get. Definitely get their caciocavallo stuffed meatballs, which are two large meatballs stuffed with gooey cheese and tossed in tomato sauce and bread on the side. Also their salted caramel budino is to die for. Their pizzas are pretty good too. Overall very great place for casual or intimate meals *VERDICT* Definitely always saying yes to going here.

Took a chance and walked in on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm. Luckily we found two seats at the bar and our awesome night at Barbuzzo began! Leo, our bartender, was the BEST! So attentive and super personable..plus he mixes awesome cocktails. My Queen Bee and my husband's Old Fashioned were smooth! We started with the mushroom arancini, nice serving and super flavorful. We switched to red wine, and the menu gave us great choices at good price points. And then the pizzas arrived! OH MY! Absolutely delicious..crust, toppings, sauce ! While we didn't have any of the pastas, they certainly looked amazing. Barbuzzo was such a great find - awesome atmosphere, wonderful staff, and delicious food! Great night out!!

Nice atmosphere, cosy interior, and friendly staff. We got probably way too much food but it was all delicious so we finished it all. The whipped ricotta was lovely though could have done with just a bit of sweetness. The Margherita pizza was really tasty. Real Italian style. The salads were great. The gnocchi was amazing. Overall really enjoyed the meal and experience!

FOOD [3/5]: The food was a mixed bag. We started with the whipped ricotta and the bread that came with it had some mold, which makes me concerned about how "fresh" their slices are. We got it replaced and it was delicious though. We also ordered the fungi and uovo pizzas. Both were good but nothing too spectacular with flavor; it's a good thing the crust was exquisite. The beet salad was really good and fresh. Finally, we finished the meal with the budino which was incredible! Definitely the best thing we ordered. SERVICE [3/5]: Service was fine but we did have to wait quite some time between server visits to order, grab the check, etc. VIBE [4/5]: Didn't get to see the inside but the outdoor setup was great! Perfect for a date or a group meal, especially in the cooler summer nights.

Ordered two pizzas and they very good. Wifey thought the margherita was a little soggy (I didn’t), but they kindly made another one and she was satisfied with the change. I myself don’t have any complains on the service, food or price, so no reason to not give 5 stars, but I want to leave room to a pizza place that really amazes me, therefore the 4 stars. It’s definitely a place that I’d go back to check the other dishes (and might bump the rating to 5).

This place is fantastic! I haven’t felt this satisfied when eating out in a very long time. Portion size is just right, and the prices follow the trend. Food is extremely well seasoned and flavorful and came out super fast - we had the butternut squash arancini, house ground meatballs, and the creste rigate. We walked in just after 5 pm on a busy Saturday, without reservation, and they took us anyway, but let us know they would need the table back by 630 pm, which was not an issue at all. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The place can feel a bit cozy with how close the tables are from each other, but I didn’t mind it so much and it would definitely not be a deterrent for me to come back. Recommend 10/10.
