It was wonderful from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day dinner. The staff were very attentive. You will feel like the only people in the restaurant. It deserves two Michelin stars. The wine pairing was very generous and the food was filling. The presentation was artistic and creative. We would definitely return. Take someone here if you want to impress them.

Fantastic service and incredibly well made dishes with thought and consideration into every element going into the dish right down to plating. Very deserving of their 2 Michelin stars. First tasting course was mind blowing. 5 unique dishes all with flavours that make your tongue dance. Followed by a strong line up of fresh proteins (prawn, black cod, tuna, and wagyu galbi). Hands down the best meal and experience I’ve had since coming to NYC! The entire night was fantastic from start to finish. The wine we selected was a dry, yet fruity and crisp Riesling from Germany. Attentive service and overall well worth the experience! Would certainly be back again in the future.

Second time visiting here for my gf and my anniversary. Absolutely loved it!!! Only Michelin 2 stars that I would come back time and time again and leave with surprises. Excellent fusion of Korean and French with talented and creative ideas. All of the dishes keep the good balance of tradition and innovation. We got served by multiple waiters who are professional and elegant. One has offered a secret menu cocktail - omijarita, I ordered twice and he gave me a free one! Superior experience overall!

What a unique experience of eating Korean cuisine. Aigoo..Aigoo.. The cocktails were excellent..ginger taste like fresh ginger. Korean lime cocktail was really good. The octopus, at one moment I thought I was eating pork belly. The scallops with beets out of this world. The sea urchin bibimbap was added extra and thank goodness that I made that choice. The wine pairing was amazing it complemented the food. Definitely i need to comeback.

Hands down the best restaurant in New York! This restaurant has really blown my mind with the artistry, craft, taste and passion they've placed on every dish. And usually I associate a tasting menu with over fanciness and not filling experience but honestly this debunks those all. Will definitely come back to Jungsik!!!

The dinning experience with Junsik was extraordinary. The foods are elegant and chefs kisses and the waiters are super attentive. The first course is five pieces of extremely delicate appetizers. The ‘fluke hard shell taco’ is refreshing. My favorite would be the truffle beef tartare and the rice ball on the right upper corner. The egg with crab meat is also really creamy and tasty. The langoustine is one of my bf’s favorite. The caviar on the top is perfect combined with the fresh langoustine and the sauce is creamy and on point but not too heavy. Octopus is the most staple dish according to our waiter and it’s crispy perfect seasoned and paired with the gochujang creamy sauce. The samgyetang is def not as memorable comparing to all other dishes. The soup was ok, and the mushroom inside was marinated with chicken stock flavor. Yellowtail kimbap definitely exceeded my expectation. The kimbap itself so so well made and the yellowtail was seasoned with a bit chilli powder which is subtle and awesome compliment with the kimbap. Persimmon is a great palate cleanser. It’s refreshing and not overly sweet. The thronyhead was ok too. The fish itself is great but the soy sauce base is a bit too salty. The GAlBI is the way to go. I am not a huge steak person but I was blown away by it. It was extremely well marinated for three days and the steak was so soft and just melted in my mouth! Hodugwaja and the complementary desserts are inspired by traditional Korean street foods. The plating was interesting and it just blended in with other real walnuts haha Carrot was surprising as well. I didn’t expect it to be a dessert. The concept is cute since it was served in a ? The carrot cake was tasty and sorbet was refreshing too.

Amazing service and good food. Really wanted to give 5 stars but there peers in the city offers more memorable food and offer more for your money. Every dish was well prepared but didn’t particularly stand out. It was nice that lots of the workers remembered my birthday.

I really enjoyed my dinner here a couple months ago. We also got the wine pairing, which I recommend. I thought everything was very smart, and had bits of Korean food flavor all around.
