This boutique little hotel is in a great location with lots of good food options nearby. It is an older building and probably not super handicap accessible if that is a concern for you. They have coffee and muffins from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. And check out isn't until 12:00 which is a blessing. The staff here was so kind and courteous and we felt very welcome. You can hear the noise from the interstate, but of course this is a city hotel so I fully expect there to be city noises. Otherwise the neighborhood is not too loud. Our bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed our Juliet balcony. I would stay here again for sure. We also use the parking lot next door. At least we didn't have to worry about getting towed. Thanks for a great stay!

I just stayed at Penn's View for the first time, and will definitely be back. At every point during my stay, the staff went out of their way to make it an incredible experience. Don't miss out on the restaurant - we sat at the bar and had the most amazing pasta and personalized service (with so many great wine recommendations!). This hotel is truly a gem and I can't wait to stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at Penn’s hotel. Ayana went that extra step to get what I requested when I made the reservations on the phone, thank you plus she’s sweet, polite and friendly, in fact all the stuff were friendly nice. The hotel is in a nice location, it’s clean, bright, with some nice furniture. I had a nice queen size room, with a sweet sort of balcony, that was partly over looking the waterfront and part of the city. I know they have larger rooms and with fireplaces also here. Definitely try their upscale, delicious restaurant next door, with a great selections of wines. Otherwise you can walk to the many local ones. Plus if you like to walk, like I do, walk up Market Street from the hotel, just 30 minutes or so, for all historical landmarks, museums and much more. Next time I visit Philly, I’ll be definitely staying here again but in one of your king-size rooms with a fireplace ?

I made a reservation through Booking, we were going to Philly for a concert and this hotel seemed reasonably priced when comparing to others. We liked it. Close to Theater of the Living Arts (if you're going to a concert), right across the street from some places you can eat, there's a parking area you can use and it's $30 if you park overnight as guest of the hotel. They provided coffee in the morning which was nice, a bit old school but very clean, bathrooms were probably renovated since you can see a big shower (at least where we were) and great water pressure. There's apparently an ATM on the second floor (unfortunately didn't work for us), and the room was clean, bright, it was ok for the price we paid for one night when staying in Philly. I saw they had a restaurant but we didn't eat there. I really enjoyed the lighting in the room and the brick walls. Overall a 5 star stay since it worked great for everything we needed. Only down side...there's no view if you're planning couple days.

I booked a room here for my girlfriend's birthday- Antonio went above and beyond to make our experience here wonderful. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfy, and they were even able to work with Old City Flowers to have a gorgeous bouquet in the room when we arrived. We only stayed one night but I wish we stayed longer!

Historic hotel in Old City was perfect for a night in Philly. Antonio at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Easy access to ferry over to Camden waterfront. Hotel wine bar and restaurant had an excellent happy hour. Morning coffee and muffin bar and easy parking lot next to hotel were added bonuses.

We stayed at the Penn's View Hotel for my daughter's wedding and it was perfect!!! Antonio was so accommodating, and it gave the hotel an old world, elegant flair. I would recommend this hotel highly. The pictures of Old Philadelphia that we got right around the hotel are priceless.

We had a great weekend staying at the Penn’s view hotel. It is perfect for couples who are interested in staying in the old city and checking out the surrounding area. Every attraction we wanted to see was within 10 minutes walking distance. The amenities provided just what we needed to have a comfortable stay.
