PizzaRita’s is one of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio. The crust is incredible, the cheese and added herbs and spices are immaculate, and the sauce is pretty good. The pie here is reminiscent of yesteryear's Sbarro, but with better dough. That is a good thing! My only gripe is that you can’t get the speciality pizzas by the slice. Some people want a meat lovers or a veggie slice too without purchasing an entire ‘za, ya know. Still, if you’re looking for a satisfying slice of cheese or pepperoni, this is the spot. Pro tip: bring your own parmesan cheese and/crushed red pepper flakes because there were none to be found.

Pretty solid eats, pizza 6.5, ziti 7.5, salad 7. Pizza crust was solid but everything else was mid on it. Ziti was good but for $16 your not 100% worth it, no protein and isn’t a huge portion size. The salad was OK not a lot of dressing but croutons were pretty good. Wait time wasn’t too long on a Friday night and customer service was mediocre.

I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. If you like more sauce than bread or cheese this pizza is for you. It wasn’t bad flavor just more sauce than I like. It was also pretty loud in here and I was one of the only people here.

It was a dark and busy night. My lonely mind and hungry stomach ached for my one true friend; Pizza. I hobbled over a stone bridge and up a flight of stairs to wait in a line for 10 minutes. However, that's pretty good timing for how busy this pizzeria was. I spoke loudly, my mask muffling my words, "medium cheese with mushrooms onions and peppers, to go." To my surprise, the young cashier understood my request. I gasped as I read the total. "This couldn't be right!" I thought to myself $20.58 for a simple small pizza. I paid and convinced myself it was going to be a great pizza and a beautiful one. 20 minutes later I'm walking back to my room, pizza in hand. Finally, I open the box, and am greeted by a dingy looking pizza. "That's alright, I won't judge a book by its cover" I mumble as I take my first bite. "Oh no. It's only okay!" The sauce was excellent, some of the best. However, the half baked toppings, the conservatively placed cheese, and the bare minimum crust hindered the whole experience. As I lay in bed typing this, stomach full, I am still confused why I ate the whole thing. Maybe it was the loneliness. Maybe the sauce was just that good, or maybe, just maybe, this place can grow on you. Like a wendigo and it's first bite of long pig, ones appetite for this pizza will only grow. Only time will tell.

My family and I enjoyed our first time at Pizza Rita's. The Baked Ziti was much smaller than depicted, but tasted good. The Pepperoni Pizza and Cheese Pizza were both tasty. The Lemon Pepper wings were a bit too salty, but I tend to like my food with less salt while my little nephew loves salt. We enjoyed sampling the fountain drinks before deciding on one. I ended up mistakenly adding Lemonade to my nephew's Big Red and he liked it.

Called to order a pizza for carry out then drive 37 min to pick it up. Walked I. And the place looked clean and the pizza looked amazing! Come to find out they do not accept cash!!!! I had no card on me and had to leave without my pizza! I am extremely disappointed ? I come downtown ones a week and was hoping this would be my pizza place. Turns out, it’s not…

I ordered a medium pizza... my total for a medium pizza and a drink was $24. I take my to go pizza... get in the car on my way home to find the pizza looks like a personal size.. which half of is only bread w a dash of sauce. I used to eat there regularly and ALWAYS enjoyed my order. This time... wow... you really ROBBED ME, Pizzarita's. And to top it off... i called repeatedly for 20mins to place an order. Instead i decided to walk over and order in person. Now, I called to talk to a manager and still... phone calls remain unanswered. SOOOO disappointing and definitely will not recommend to anyone. I work at a hospital downtown. We would order regularly... u lost our business today.
