This is the first Persian restaurant I have been to that doesn't have sumac shaker. The food was excellent and delicious but a bit pricy. No option to get a combo (beef and lamb. Or beef and chicken) but regardless the meal was extremely yummy! We got the hummus, the koobideh and the boneless lamb. The rice was mouthwatering and the meat was extremely flavorsome. Even if I tried my absolute hardest, I would never be able to replicate the tasty delectable food I ate here at this restaurant.. Big thanks and Props to the chef !!!

Hi Hunter -

Excellent food. We had beef and lamb with rice and vegetable skewers. The flavor was authentic and the quality superb. The portions and pricing are fair. We enjoyed the baklava for desert. Quaint atmosphere. Clean. Good service.

Food 5* Vibe 4* Service 5* Great persian restaurant. You cant go wrong with anything you order. The chicken is nice and juicy. The beef is delicious as well.

I love to give them more stars as an Iranian but it won’t be the truth. Their koobedeh was dry, chicken wasn’t juicy, mahicheh had a tomato’s taste and we had to order more rice since the portion wasn’t Iranian standard. I don’t provide the review to discredit any place rather than informing the consumers and owner to be informed. Cheers

Some of the best Persian food you can have in Gaslamp. Highly recommend and the owner/family is very polite.

Was recommended this place. Came in late on a saturnight they were slightly busy. Got seated quickly. Seemed a little understaffed. Beers are very reasonably priced at 5 bucks each. The hummus and salads are very good and fresh. The kebabs and rice was good portions and fresh could use more flavor and seasoning.

I really enjoyed the kabobs and persian ice cream (cardamon, rosewater, pistachios). The service was good. Went early on a weekday, not busy.

The restaurant itself was so cold and humid, it had such a bad smell the moment we arrived!! ALL the dishes and glasses were not clean (look at the picture of my glass with lipstick mark on it). The food itself was super ordinary, veryyyyy greasy, and was cold!!!
