This is a great place to go in groups. the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing; there’s such fun paintings, the lighting, the outdoor seating area.. it’s great. Not too many waiters that I saw, perhaps because it was slow. Their customer service was nice; very understanding and attentive. The pricing is amazing! Very very affordable; I paid less than 30 for two; including extra side and drink. The food was good. I wasn’t a fan of the potato salad or the excessive fat on the pork belly, but the wings were great; crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. not too spicy though; the Nashville hot was nowhere near as hot as I expected it to be, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing; they were still flavorful. As for the pork belly I had ordered, I’ve ordered it at other places before and really not a picky eater, but I could not stomach the extra fat; at times, it grossed me out to the point that I couldn’t finish it. Aside from the fat, the rest of the pork belly was delicious. The meat was flaky on the outside but juicy on the inside and the sauce was perfect. The mac & cheese is great not sure if it was oven baked or not, but definitely creamy.

Disgusting is the appropriate word. Food was....disgusting. service sucked. Prices too high. Since they were out of all meats we ordered fried shrimp, it was oily...breading was falling off and salty. Served with tarter sauce.. ick. Mac and chess was COLD. 6 very tiny wings with "rub" . Bland...cold and the rub was REALLY salty. Some of us just want a menu...which server gave us after I said "What good is ordering from the QR if you're out of everything?" Not even worth a trip back for the barbecue. We paid over $30 for what is pictured. Go across the street to Taco Boys. Skip this mess.

I am a little disappointed for my first time to this establishment. I stood in the doorway waiting to see if someone was going to give me a menu and show me where I can sit. I saw a waitress that was laughing with the someone behind the counter. After a few minutes I decided to sit at a table by the door and I waited for the young lady to come over. She never came after I waited again. I walked over to her to ask for a menu and I was told that I had to use my phone to scan the QR code that was on the table. I feel if you have to inform someone how to order then maybe a light bulb should have went off saying this customer probably have never been here before. Behind me was a young man looking at the menu that was provided to him and diagonally to my left was an older male and behind him was an elderly couple. In the immediate area, there wasn't many customers. The waitress went to the older man and gave him a menu but yet for whatever reason I had to scan the QR code. (Both men also had their phones sitting on the table.) I thought that's weird but I order my food. The young lady gave me my food and turned around to walk away. I asked before she leave can she give me some sauce for my ribs, in which she left and came back with the sauce. I could not enjoy my meal because I noticed she went to everybody's table but mind. I heard her ask both men did they like their meals and did they wanted to order anything else. I had been sitting at that table for more than 30 minutes at this point and not once did she even come to the table to see if I needed anything. Customer service was definitely horrible. When I saw a worker heading my way I asked for a carryout container since I was just disgusted on how I was treated. I can only assume that she probably thought I was not going to tip and the men would tip. I left her a tip anyway but not as much as I usually do when I go out. Will I be back? Time will tell because I do not want to be treated like that again. I will provide update when or if I decide to go back.

What an authentic experience. A unique take on bbq. From the beans using a sausage base vs. brisket. To the strawberry like jelly inspired sauce. I enjoyed it all! The service was amazing and entertaining! Low key place that should not be overlooked! Highly recommend!

This past two weeks I've walked in the restaurant with no one caring to the needs of the customers sitting in the restaurant but the food was still good quality; however, I placed a moderate sized order with a 25% tip included and received low quality food from this Award Winning BBQ restaurant. The grilled shrimp was not fresh or blackened and it appeared as if it was heated in a microwave or on a stove. The pulled chicken was not fresh as well and appeared reheated. I called the assistant manager because I couldn't believe an Award Winner Chef would allow this to come out of their kitchen. I was correct, the restaurant owner wasn't there at the time so I highly recommend him finding a new assistant manager because it's obvious they don't have the same passion for the business and it's reputation. Unfortunately, I was forced to throw my food and regret ignoring the warning signs that this restaurant is under poor management.

The sauce is boss here ? ? the ribs tasted like candy and the meat fell right off the bone, the mac and cheese was yummy ? and the jalapeño Coleslaw was fantastic. The atmosphere is bomb

First time visiting AZ and I was on a hunt to find some good bbq. The hunt ended early when I stopped in this black owned restaurant in the heart of Downtown phoenix. The food was delicious from the meat to the sauce and they had so many options to choose from. I ordered the loaded bbq chicken fries and also the soul rolls both were a hit! Great vibes in this restaurant, great customer service and good music ! 10/10 #blackownedbusiness
