My family had an incredible stay at the W last week. Our rooms were super nice, very clean and we loved the decor. The pool area was awesome! We loved enjoying some adult beverages while my son played in the pool. We had room service for dinner and the food was great! Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

This is my best hotel experience in 2022 and I really want to share it. We spent our Christmas holiday there and it makes us an uncomfortable memory. As a platinum member, we are upgraded to a studios suite which is amazing. The room is spacious with a perfect city view. We enjoyed sitting there doing nothing, the sunset view and the river view are amazing. And I also like the service and decoration style there. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Great experience. Definitely will come back.

So, I came into this amazing establishment looking for a place to host some events & do business with for clients, etc., when I was greeted by an incredibly enthusiastic young lady by the name of Joy at the front desk! She took me on a tour of this fantastic hotel while fully engaging me & addressing my needs before I asked her questions. She went above & beyond the call of duty wowing me with the amenities of this hotel! “Whenever whatever she exclaimed as she expressed while wowing me professionally at every turn! I’m excited to say, that I have found the place where I will be doing business with & hosting some events! You simply must come & check this gorgeous place out! You won’t be disappointed! W Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love is sure to not only meet your needs, but exceed all of your expectations! Please don’t hesitate to ask for Joy at the front desk!! You must check in to this hotel!

Dark, moody, chic decor, clean, with great views from the top floors. Bar tender, Bryant, was great! Other staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was suppose to be heated to 90-something degrees but it felt more like 70; so, the pool was not realistically an option in January. The rooms were too dark to see well enough to get ready. I would stay at this hotel again, for business or pleasure. And I would consider renting the pool deck for a private pool party during the warmer months.

My stay got off to a bit of a rough start as my room was not ready rather late in the day. But that can happen. The front desk staff was very friendly, which at the end of the day is all I ask. My stay at the hotel was phenomenal. We were there on business for a trade show at the Convention Center, and the W was one of the trade show hotels listed. Of course, it was very convenient, as it was only a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center. We hung out in the lobby many evenings and had drinks in the hotel lounge. The lounge/bar staff was very friendly and attentive. One evening I came back to the hotel looking for a place to watch the Monday Night Football game. The bartender was kind enough to let us use the private room behind the bar. That was a special treat. The rooms were also top notch. comfortable beds, great shower, roomy bathroom. The final piece they resist ONS is that they have the best elevator music and their elevators. I shared that observation with no less than three or four other guests during my stay. Thank you W Philadelphia.

This is by far the WORST managed Marriott property I’ve ever stayed in. They need to remove the W brand from this hotel because it’s tarnishing the image. Rooms are so dark it’s like you’re in a dungeon. The service is horrible, I still have yet to have anyone answer even one of my phone calls while calling the front desk from my room. Room service is non existent and this is a full service property. Phone just rings with no response! The hotel restaurant Dolce has sub par service and the food is barely edible. Add to that they held $1,200 against my credit card for incidentals for a 2 night stay for which one night had been fully paid in advance with points! Unbelievable. I would give them zero stars if I could. I’m a Marriott Gold Elite member and I’ve never ever given a bad review to a Marriott property until now. They need to get their act together. I read the reviews prior to going and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Huge mistake!

I only stayed here for one night but mostly enjoyed my stay. I loved the interior design even though some of the furniture looked a bit dated. One annoying thing is that when I checked in they told me my breakfast was included since I’m a Titanium member and the restaurant staff just told me I could order whatever I wanted and they’d take them off the bill. But when I checked out, they told me there was a $40 cap for the breakfast and I had to pay if there was extra??‍♂️ I mean, who needs this kind of surprise?!

The W Philadelphia has to one of the coolest hotels in center city. I’ve stayed at bunch of the nicer ones and when comes to atmosphere they are 10/10. I stayed here again recently and had a wonderful time. The bar downstairs is very cool compared to most. The rooms are just amazing. One of the few places to have a floor to ceiling mirror. My only complaint is the lighting. As a guy that doesn’t wear makeup it’s cool but for anyone that wears makeup they need a brighter lamp. (I’m nitpicking here). I love staying here. It is definitely my place to stay for now on and where I’m going to recommend my clients to stay. Gorgeous place.
